"S87937 is spacious and well equipped, (very comfy beds!) and Andrew the owner was very helpful from start to finish. There are fantastic views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh and out to sea. We spent ages watching the ships coming and going or looking for seals and Dolphins, so take some binoculars! Car parking is just across the road and the railway station is less than 5 minutes walk with frequent trains into Edinburgh (40 minutes and £9 return) or north to Dundee and beyond. The beach is 2 minutes walk and located on the Fife coastal path so ideal for those wanting to wander further afield. Kinghorn has all the local amenities you need (shops/pubs etc) and Kirkcaldy is less than 10 minutes by car/train if you need more. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we are looking to stay in the area."

"This is a cottage that would be wonderful for disabled people of all abilities. The bedrooms all have garden views. The bathrooms were spotless and well thought out. There was enough space to move, which is important when you're disabled or don't like to bump your elbows on the walls! The whole cottage's layout was really good. If you didn't want to be disturbed by the TV you could sleep in the bedroom at the opposite end of the bungalow. The walls are very thick so sound didn't travel far. There was a substantial welcome pack, which always puts a smile on my face - I don't have to go searching for the tea bags immediately on arrival! The area was very quiet. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The information in the cottage about places to see and eat was very informative. We'll definitely return."

"We stayed at S87937 over the Easter holiday with our two dogs. There is an entrance at the rear of the property that leads straight into a utility and then into a lovely large kitchen that you can easily sit, relax and eat. The utility allowed us to dry the dogs off before entering the rest of the apartment, if that is a concern to anyone. The décor was very well done and even though modern was very homely. I would recommend anyone to stay especially if you have pets because the beach is opposite to walk the dogs. We even took them to the Auld House pub for a pint after a walk. Andrew the owner is very helpful and can make any recommendations if required."

"Wonderful property a real home from home. Lots of little well thought out extras and a welcoming cake too. I have mobility problems but found the property with its huge wetroom met my needs. The kitchen is enormous with room round the big dining table for family and friends. The garden was splendid too and great to spend a quiet moment in. The owners left plenty of info on local attractions, restaurant s and beaches which helped us plan our excursions. We would highly recommend this property for a break in Scotland."

"An excellent cottage. Beautifully located, spotlessly clean and lovely gardens. We would happily stay again in the cottage itself but feel we have now visited much of the local area so that would be the only reason for not rebooking soon. Very happy to recommend it to friends new to East Lothian as an excellent base.Only things that would make it even better are not within the owners' control - nowhere nearby to walk to by way of a restaurant / pub. However local shops / restuarants only a short drive away."
