"Having visited the Lake District for over 14 years now, staying somewhere different every year, this was one of the best. The lodge was superbly fitted out & the park itself was very well kept. Having a wee dog is the main reason for our Lakes holidays & this was no different, great walks nearby and on the park itself. Not any on site entertainment other than the pub, which is fine unless you have young kids looking for something to do. Morecambe only a 30 min drive away & good access for supermarkets / shops etc... Food served on site was good, gym / pool facilities looked good but I didn't use them. Would definitely return ( next year ! ) Great value for money too. Another bonus was the site was literally ten minutes off the M6. Only downside was the cost / reliability of the onsite WiFi, make sure you have a healthy data allowance !10 /10"

"We stayed here for four days at the end of October . The weather was kind to us so we were out every day .If the weather had been awful we would have been warm and comfortable in this lovely well cared for rental property. There are numerous board games, videos and books to keep one entertained on a rainy day. The TV was easy to use . It was pre-programmed for Freeview . The video player also worked without any hiccups. The clocks had just gone back when we were at Liggard Cottage so the dark evenings kept us closer to home. The gas central heating system was very effective . The kitchen was fully equipped for most holiday cooking needs and it was a pleasure to sit in there in the mornings when the sun rose at one end and moved along and set all within sight of the front of the house. . This was a delightful place for us to base ourselves."

"This is a really attractive cottage with a high quality and stylish finish throughout. Everything we needed was provided and it was very comfortable and warm. We were also pleased with the 'welcome goodies' which was a nice touch. It is in a very good position tucked away in a quiet part of Lytham which has a Booth's supermarket five minutes away and lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Many interesting and varied places are within a short driving distance. We had a lovely time and would definitely book again and recommend Liggard Cottage. Many thanks to Jacky, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Great accommodation, with more than we could possibly have needed. The décor was lovely and relaxing, there were plenty of DVDs and games in case of rainy weather, the beds really comfortable and kitchen really well furnished. The owner made sure there were things in the lodge that were particularly suited to our family, so a big thank you. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family and would stay again if we were to visit the Lakes."

"We really enjoyed our holiday in this superb lodge which was well furnished, well equipped, and had a great view over the lake. It was bright and spacious yet warm and cosy, which was needed for our winter holiday. The location was ideal for us as it was within easy reach of the RSPB Reserve at Leighton Moss. Excellent food in the on-site restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend this lodge to family and friends."
