"My biggest disappointment is that this complex of about 14 or more barn extensions which have been newly built, have not been made accessible for disabled people. This made me quite sad in this day and age, it would not have cost anything for the access to have been ramped rather than building one step up into the accommodations as they have. Their response was it is not advertised as disabled friendly, which is quite hurtful to be alienated like this. Once you are in the building it would have been totally accessible then. Also outside there was no drop kerb to get from the accommodations to some of the facilities such as the laundry or the shared garden areas, which could have been easily done, especially at the step of the laundry which has now caused a water logged area directly into the laundry. A drop kerb could have meant that we could access the accommodation through the bedroom at least. Shame no consideration was given in the build for disabled people and young families. There were at least two of us wheelchair users in the complex at the time also families there with prams, who would have found the access valuable. The barn style accommodations were nice, fitted out with Ikea and rooms clean and spacious. Just the towels could have been cleaner. The grounds are being developed around the farm, there are peacocks that were very beautiful, but not so lovely when they are calling throughout the night and your getting little sleep. So if you are ill or need sleep something to consider. Was difficult to find the complex as no sign posts and had to knock on several doors etc. We were not sent an access code etc as gated entrance so stuck outside for a long time. Would stay there again. Nice play area for children on site. Dog charge expensive especially when you have two to pay for and they don't cause very much cleaning. It also states dogs free of charge but this is not the case once you book. The farm is elephant grass farming so not suitable to take your dogs in those fields, quite muddy. There is a normal field adjacent to the buildings."

"S74008 is a purpose built holiday let. Although finished to a nice standard, we personally we found it rather clinical. The sofa in the lounge is rather small so after a long day exploring in the cotwolds it was hard to relax (my partner is 6ft2) and the single beds didn't do anything for the romantic in us ! Looking at the previous occupants the majority appear to be couples so I would suggest the single beds are replaced with a nice big kingsize bed. Also, it was difficult to get a Wi-Fi connection as this is extended from the owners property so the only way to stay connected is to position your device on the window ledge facing the owners house, which made lazy browsing impossible. (you had to perch on a chair by the kitchen sink) plus there was no 3/4g connection either ! The owner did explain he was having some issues with wi-fi and was waiting for the Engineer to come out on Tuesday (2 days after we left), but I did read some similar comments from 3 months ago so I would check before booking. All in all, a good location for Bicester shopping village, a clean and well maintained property, with some lovely touches such as the lemon cake on arrival, but this didn't make up for the rest ! To be honest we left a day early as we wanted to wake up in our own comfy bed and browse the web :)"

"I have stayed there twice this season and had wonderful times both times. Everything is there at the cottage you could possibly want and need. Only one thing missing a vase for flowers ! A minor thing, so I just took my own. Because it sleeps three it is a great place for a single person to holiday with friends, which is exactly what I did. I stayed with family from Yorkshire there, and last week friends from New Zealand there. I am a local girl who loves Wendover anyway, but they all loved it. So many walks to do from there, depending on the rain of course, and enough restaurants in Wendover to eat at a different one every night. Although everything is supplied for cooking at the cottage which we also did several nights. Thank you a wonderful place, but I don't want to tell many people !"

"Beautifully modernised 19th century cottage, very tastefully kitted out with all mod cons. Wendover is very charming, though hardly traffic-free, and the Chilterns are absolutely beautiful & a walker's paradise (at least until HS2 arrives). The cottage wouldn't suit the less able-bodied, with bedroom & bathroom on different levels, necessitating a somewhat hazardous night-time visit to the loo. The walls are thin, so it's possible to hear the next-door neighbours thundering up and down the stairs, not to mention two disagreeably yappy dogs. The "welcome pack" is a pint of milk, although the (overpriced) Tesco Express is 100 yards down the road. Although there are clear disadvantages, as above, the accommodation is of impressive quality overall."

"S25741 was perfect for my week in Oxfordshire. I was staying alone with my dogs and doing a week's course in the area and felt like I was coming home every evening. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and Katherine left plenty of the basic supplies (like washing up liquid, loo paper, soap etc) which is really great as you don't want to be shopping for those things when on holiday then having to take them home with you (some cottage owners are a bit mean in this regard)! Being a single traveller I am sensitive to how relaxed I am when I am away from home and sometimes feel a bit lonely or uncomfortable but at S25741 I felt right at home. I would highly recommend and will visit again when in the area. Thank you!"
