"What a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The pictures do not do justice to this property. We were a party of five adults and one well behaved dog, looking for a cosy comfortable property to celebrate a 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The lounge is large and comfortable, and the wood burner kept us nice and warm when the weather turned cold. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, as well as enjoying meals at the local pubs The Royal Oak and The Towy Inn. This village and its residents are the most welcoming to visitors, both human and four legged that we have ever come across in our travels. We loved the views from the dining room whilst eating breakfast, watching the sheepdogs in the fields with the sheep. We also were delighted by the Hawks and birds that frequent the garden. Angela, the owner gave us advice on walks and we were not disappointed, in particular the walk around the dam and reservoir were exhilarating and well worth a visit. The cottage bedrooms are furnished with quality bed linen and towels and the beds are so comfortable and stylish. We all fell in love with this cottage and would definitely visit again for another family get together."

"This house was beautifully equipped, airy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A very nice welcome pack on arrival, above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before. Loved the area, but missed the coast as we usually like to walk our dog on the beach and we had to travel quite a distance to get to Tenby or Cardigan Bay, (Although we were aware of the distance when booking). At the time of our stay there were lots of road works and hedge cutting going on, which added time to any journey. We loved the Brecon Beacons. The only downfall was the garden, which is not mentioned at all in the details of this lovely house. Fortunately having read the reviews, I knew the garden was detached from the property and there were steep steps, but I was still disappointed as the garden was not very welcoming. Uncomfortable picnic table/bench, the sort you get in pub gardens. It could be so much better with a bit of TLC as the views over the village and countryside were pretty and it was very private. Don't let this put you off as the house more than makes up for the lack of a pretty garden"

"Hosts are caring and helpful.Hot tub that's private and over looking areas of woodland/fields is wonderful. We had not used hot tubs before and didn't think much of it before we got there but were surprised by how much we liked it. Location is convenient for exploring points of interest but if you are looking for a busy town feel with lots of amenities/restaurants, this might not be for you.We would describe it as clean, functional, and practical rather than a romantic picture of a cottage.Kitchen equipment/provision is great (things like toilet roll, cling film, foil and plenty of towels provided throughout - we were not expecting that!).The living space inside the cottage is small..in effect kitchen, dining area and living room being squeezed into one. So, if you feel claustrophobic in smaller spaces, this may not be for you.Bunk Beds not so good...particularly the mattresses - spring mattresses and need replacing because they don't allow for a good night's sleep especially if an adult is using these beds. If these were not replaced, it would stop us from returning to this cottage."

"This is the second time staying at this resort and at this specific cottage, and we would definitely come back again. Everything you needed within a kitchen was there, so we did a shop on our way down and never wanted for anything. The surroundings were beautiful, and the hot tub made it perfect for enjoying the scenery, especially as I am not very mobile. From the furniture, to the beds, and from the shower to the hot tub, everything was so comfortable and ideal. We could not recommend this place enough. If you enjoy walking then the surroundings areas are perfect. If you bring the car, there is more than enough information within the cottage for surrounding activities and sights to see for all of the family. Absolutely perfect. Mary, Angela and Shaun were very accommodating and welcoming, and are so helpful, they really do make you comfortable on your trip. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing trip with the opportunity for venturing into the countryside, then this is perfect. We never left once we were in the cottage during our whole trip, it’s that perfect."

"We had a fantastic week at the cottage. Andrew and Karen were very welcoming. They answered any questions we had. Nothing was too Much trouble. The cottage was cosy and snug. Our dogs were ok but two medium/ large dogs may struggle for space toLie down as the kitchen/ lounge area is compact. The cottage is in a peaceful location.surrounded by lovely countryside. Our dogs loved watching the horses and sheep in the fields. The welcoming gifts of wine, cake and milk were a lovely touch. It would be worth taking a few basic food provisions with you until you get to the shops as the cottage is quite rural. The nearest town is about 5-6 miles away and has all You will need. The furnishings/bedding etc were comfortable and fresh. The cottage was lovely and clean. There are some great walks and castles to visit not too far away by car."
