"Quirky , noisy , no happy help seemed nice people no one to greet us , no suitable if you put health and safety first and like noise pollution check out on google the road it’s on as you bed headboard is just 10 metres from this 24/7 , sadly it’s right up left out major issues , you must travel to purchase heavy logs , the owners are juggling other projects if you need a bed change ours took ten days , it never happened as my husband sadly slipped on 3 steps , injuring his back and other areas , we were pushed into a decision to go home , I love this area of the UK I don’t wish anything bad to owners they need to understand your human beings and a little help goes a long way when under floor heating isn’t working on arrival and a listed stairwell has no light bulb at top of stairs , one red Smeg fridge and this new quirky cottage idea is brilliant but only if your dedicated and it works , trust your guests they are working with you . No Christmas, No New Year No happy Memories expect Southwold days , this could all be turned round with care and thought , always tell the truth good or bad , you may find people are not just £ signs on legs they have hearts , wishing you hope many more horses and health for New Year SueX Kevin and doggy Rocky poorer monetary wise and health dreadful we don’t hold grudges left for you to enjoy a happy New year thinking of your wonderful children."

"Difficult to get into the property problem with the key safe. We rang the owner and hopefully they will get it sorted for the future. Also had trouble locating guest information book it was in amongst the games under the coffee table but would have been better on top of the coffee table so easy to find and use immediately which is what you need when you first arrive. All very new and clean. All very comfortable. Wouldn't recommend for dog owners or young children as it is on the edge of the cliff with no fencing. Lots of squirrels, rabbits, foxes and dear and if your dog is likely to chase any of these could quite easily go off the cliff edge, we used a lead every time we let the dog out. Easy access to the beach for long walks. One local pub closed down and the other although they took dogs it was in an uninviting conservatory also we went down for food Friday evening and although their web site says food they don't do it this time of the year (we stayed 2-9 Nov) lucky Tesco about 5 minute drive away. If you just want a really good rest and chill out its a perfect place"

"Less a cottage and more a mobile home/chalet bungalow, so very characterless outside. Inside comfortable very well appointed and generally very clean except the shower was developing a real mold problem; that bathmat has got to go! Comfy bed and fairly peaceful setting. The conservatory was really nice and despite the cold weather it warmed up well in the spring sunshine. There definitely a lack of basic equipment we have come to expect: there was no hair dryer; no radio alarm clock; very basic sets of kitchen equipment and the cutlery and crockery were a mishmash. (A massive great dish washer and insufficient equipment). Loads of spoons though! The shower was not very powerful for being the only form of bathing apart from the washbasin. The dog walks were lovely but you had to contend with a tricky fast country road to get anywhere. The area is so lovely and enjoyed days out but Orchard(?) Farm "Cottage" was not very homely to come back to."

"We had a great relaxing weekend, modern well equipped lodge in a great setting it wouldn't feel cramped even with 4 adults. Didn't manage to get any connection to wi-fi & mobile reception in & out but that's the area, didn't suffer from a spell off the grid. The local area is quiet, walks on the beach & the small local nature reserve are just what we wanted for the dog. We met our aim which was not to use the car all weekendAs the owners guide notes say, the closest pub isn't worth the effort. On Friday it had no beer? & by Saturday it wasn't even opening, the White Horse in the village is a nice pub with a good menu.Overall this is our 4th trip to the area in different types of accommodation but this was the most comfortable & best located, we would definitely look to return."

"S86178 is a first class holiday lodge in a superb location overlooking the sea. It is very well furnished, extremely comfortable, warm and provides all the facilities you need for a great stay. The lodge is surprisingly large with an ensuit bathroom to each bedroom, a very large lounge/dining/kitchen area and a very large outside decking area. The site on which the lodge is situated is small compared to several of the other sites in the area and is very quiet and peaceful. Locally, there is a pub but regrettably no shop. You need to travel a tad further into Hopton-on-Sea for a 24/7 shop. Otherwise, it's around 5 minutes into Lowestoft where all the main facilities can be found."
