"A group of 7 of us (3 adults and 4 children under 10) all stayed at Seaspray during February half term. Actually this was our second visit but the cottage wasn't yet on TripAdvisor to write a review. All I can say is that the cottage is perfect. It is beautifully decorated, contemporary but with a very coastal cottage feel. Spotlessly clean, warm, spacious and well kitted out with everything you could possible need. It also has a wonderful sea view and is located right across the road from the sea. Portknockie is a peaceful village with a lovely harbour and lots of good walks, caves and beaches to explore. There is also a local Spar that is open til 8pm most nights or the Cullen Co-Op is just a couple of minutes drive away. I have to mention the beds! - all of the beds were comfortable ,the bedlinen was soft and clean and it was an absolutely joy to get into bed at the end of the day. Even though the weather was lovely, it was still cold so we spent a lot of time indoors enjoying this cosy cottage with the wood burning fire roaring! We will definitely be back again shortly. Simply perfect and we all have a fantastic time.."

"This is an outstanding cottage with wonderful charm and character, a real home from home. It is set in a picturesque location, in a coastal fishing village, on the Moray firth. The cottage is spacious, full of character and wonderfully decorated. It has everything you could possibly need! Clean, cosy and with some lovely personal touches, including a book containing information about the history of the cottage - fascinating - an old fisherman's cottage transformed into a contemporary coastal holiday home. The cottage has beautiful views out to sea. Portknockie harbour is quaint and peaceful, and Bow Fiddle Rock is just a few minutes walk from the house. This offered us incredible views and wonderful photo opportunities. We'd recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise behind Bow Fiddle - absolutely stunning! The Moray Coast Trail is a stones throw away and runs for 50 miles along the coast; perfect for cycling, running or walking along. We loved seeing seals from Portessie Bay, Ospreys from the top of the Bin of Cullen and we're looking forward to coming back to see the dolphins! We thoroughly recommend a holiday here!"

"We had such a lovely week at Salty Dog. The Cottage was beautiful, tastefully done with everything in it that a family and their four legged friends would need. We arrived to a lovely personalised welcome pack which included flowers, milk, treats for dogs and children as well as jar full of chocolate biscuits. The Cottage is spacious, spotless clean, very well equipped, and comfortable. The location is truly stunning and you can literally throw a stone into the water from the front door! Therefore, making it literally impossible to be nearer the sea. The local folk were lovely, there was so much to see and do in the surrounding area, but to be honest you don't really need to leave the your own doorstep. The weather was kind to us and our children loved it and spent their days on the surrounding beaches and their evenings in the harbour in front of our door paddling about in an inflatable canoe. The dogs were in heaven too and frankly so were we. In short we absolutely loved it!"

"Set in an enviable location in the village of Lhanbryde, overlooking farmland, Auldfield is a spacious bungalow with every contemporary convenience and appointed to a high standard designed for comfort. Instructions for appliances and heating are comprehensively described in the folder, along with useful information on the area.We were impressed by the careful attention to detail and Brian kept in touch before and after our visit. While we were there we were in the capable and courteous hands of Brian's Dad, who lives nearby.Lhanbryde boasts an award- winning butcher and a friendly local convenience store, a five minute walk from the house. A short drive takes you to Fochabers, Elgin and Lossiemouth and though the dolphins were not out to play at Spey Bay we did see an osprey. In the evening we took advantage of the lovely view from the patio to watch the sun setting over the fields. We would highly recommend Auldfield for a relaxing get- away in beautiful Morayshire."

"Sea Yonder was a little bit of heaven - what a beautiful setting so tranquil a place to truly relax. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and the view of the sea was amazing. The hot tub was an excellent place to relax in and enjoy at any time of the day. There are lots of little sea/harbour locations to visit; Portsoy was really beautiful and locked in the past, Portknockie where the fiddle and bow rock formation was, Cullen is also worth a visit. The rockpool cafe was definitely worth a visit but best 2 book in advance as most tables are reserved. Opposite the cafe is a beautiful gift shop and the lady serving us was just lovely. The Pozzi cafe in Buckie served a good lunch but the hotel further up the road was very disappointing and food not great😣.. it would make it better if Buckie itself had more good eating places. The Highland Widlife Park is also worth a visit we even got a small glimpse of baby polar bear with mum."
