"I am a 40 yr old male professional and I stayed at The S44407 riding center cottage for 7 weeks. It was an unusually long stay for a holiday let, and i know i was extremely lucky to have had this vacancy for as long as i needed. Its a real gem of a place. As a hub for exploring the UK or working within wolverhampton or surrounding area, you cant beat the west midlands. It is just far enough yet close enough to city centers, Peak district, lake district, try and see it all... I did. Plus its location within Pattingham is walking distance to a nice pub (the Pigot Arms), grocery, horses of course! and bridleway walking paths. Its a renovated old horse stable with loads of charm, a smart layout w comfortable furnishings. The bedroom is roomy and comfortable, new and clean bathroom, kitchen, flat screen TV's, Stereo, free Wi-Fi, freezer and separate area for the washer and dryer. The private garden out back is a mature retreat with lots of roses blossoming if you stay in May thru July. Its a very a special place and I'd stay again without hesitation. 10 out of 10 stars from me after 7 weeks, nuf said. The owners are very friendly and more than willing to help with any of your needs. I can't say enough how much this place and its owners made me feel at home despite it being thousands of miles away for me. Thank you Tim and Louise, I really hope we can share another glass again someday. Cheers!"

"We loved staying here. The bungalow was very comfortable: immaculately clean, very comfy bed and generally well equipped so there was everything we wanted to make us feel at home. In the area there is absolutely loads to see, from very pretty country walks from the immediate area (eg Bratch Locks, disused railway walks, country lanes around Wombourne and Lower Penn and further afield) to longer hikes (eg Wrekin, Malvern Hills, Ironbridge Gorge area, Kinver Edge etc) to historic visits (again eg Ironbridge area) and National Trust properties (eg Whitwick Manor, Shuborough Hall). So all in all - a great place to visit ... and that's only scratching the surface. Venture further into Shropshire and there is even more to see. Garden also very inviting, although we were at the bungalow in November ... so we'll just have to come back when it's a bit warmer! Thanks for everything, we had a great stay!"

"This really was a find. What a great cottage. Great quiet location within easy access to the village of Wombourne with its shops and pubs/restaurants. You can get to the Merry Hill shopping centre near Dudley. The city of Wolverhampton is a bus ride away. There are some really nice villages close by well worth the visit. Other places worth a look Bridgnorth and Ironbridge. The cottage itself was excellent. The owners providing for all your needs even down to the nice bottle of wine (French?) and the box of chocolates which was a very nice touch. Good Wi-Fi and parking. We cannot praise this place enough and would recommend it to all."

"Arriving late we where received by the owners who showed us the property and gave us direction to shops and amenities. They had also filled the fridge with our first breakfast. What a nice surprise. So top marks for the service. The house itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a fully kitted kitchen. The village, Wombourne, have good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The towns and nearby Birmingham is not far away for day excursion. If you like walking the Kingswinford Railway Walk is just around the corner with connection to Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal/Cut."

"We were really pleased with the cottage and its pretty garden, which is secure for the dogs. Very well equipped and fitted out to a high standard. It's a lovely peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful places to visit - Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock in particular. The village is about a mile but there aren't any footpaths for most of it, although the owner said there was a route alongside a field to avoid the very narrow section of Warstone Hill Road. Lovely walks in the other direction though.I would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing holiday with easy access to Shropshire and Wales"
