What our customers are saying about our Child Friendly Cottages In Scotland To Rent.

"S75254 is a beautiful, comfortable, superbly equipped house with a spectacular view of the sea, as the name suggests. We had a wonderful break in spite of the unseasonable Arctic weather, and thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Falkland Palace, Kellie Castle and a boat trip to the Isle of May, which we would heartily recommend to any prospective visitor. The welcome pack was generous and very much appreciated, and the standard of household equipment and facilities is absolutely outstanding; everything has been considered and thought through - it is rare to see a standard quite so exceptional. The one thing we missed in our location was a local pub or two; the one pub/hotel had closed a few months before our visit, and this is a big loss to the village.Overall though, an excellent holiday and an exceptional property."

"Really enjoyed our stay here in the Highlands. Superb location, only two miles from the A9,which takes you to Aviemore/Inverness in the North, and Pitlochry/Perth in the South. The cottage had everything you could wish for during a Winter stay. Worthy of mention are the powerful showers, both upstairs & downstairs. Ground floor big,en suite upstairs, a little small. All beds,as previously commented upon, were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the wood burner, just what you need after a long day sightseeing. We visited lots of places during our stay and were blessed with breathtaking snowy landscapes everywhere. However, next time,we must hire a 4 x 4! I would highly recommend this property and hope to one day stay again."

"I stayed at Glas Doire recently with my elderly parents, one of which is disabled. The lodge is very warm, comfortable and homely, and in the perfect location, in a beautiful part of the world. The disabled bathroom was well equipped and spacious, although it could possibly benefit from some heating, instead of the heated towel rail, as it was a tad cold in the mornings for my dad. The rest of the lodge however, was well heated and very cosy.Overall, we had a wonderful stay, in a lovely lodge, and the owner Catherine was the perfect host, thank you. I would definitely recommend this property. Hopefully we'll be back again in the future."

"Our holiday was very nice. The location is great, in the middle of the nature. That is what we loved. Also the owner was great. He came immidiataly when the heater did not work. We got another one. He took us up in his own car to hear and see red dear and red grouse. He is so nice. The cottage is small, very old. What we did not like was the bed. It was too small for 2 persons. There is no reiception of 4G, telephone, wifi or television, but we get use to it. We read a lot of books. It was great to experience. And...after a few days we liked it.My husband is disabled, he can manage in the cottage. Maybe a ramp at the grass will be fine."

"We had a lovely family break at Viewfield, with 3 generations all enjoying the house and facilities. The garden is fantastic and our city children enjoyed the freedom and space it allowed. They loved meeting the resident friendly pig and feeding scraps each day. The play area is a great inclusion and the children had lots of fun on it. The house is spacious, homely and well equipped. The local village has a couple of good quality cafes and community shop. There is also a great pub/restaurant 5 mins away in St John’s town of Dalry."
