What our customers are saying about our Child Friendly Cottages In Powys To Rent.

"We had a lovely few days in the cottage, we met up with our family and although it rained the whole time we had great fun going out for the days and playing games in the evening. The cottage is well equipped to meet the needs of a family. The only problem we encountered was that it was difficult to control the temperature of the upstairs shower. However we all just used the downstairs shower so it wasn't too much of a problem. We had a lovely day out at the Big Pit and also a run on the Brecon National Railway. We enjoyed a tour of Talgarth Mill and the wee ones took part in a workshop within the Mill making rag rug sheep. We had a lovely meal in the Bridge End Inn where the owner made us very welcome. The food was excellent."

"S105360 is a fantastic cottage. The owners are really friendly they met us when we arrived and did a quick tour and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is lovely it’s spotlessly clean, spacious, light and cosy.Comfortable sofas and beds. The kids loved the garden loads of room to play, table and chairs to eat outside and comfy recliners for relaxing. We had a nice meal at the pub a few minutes walk away nice chip shop in the next village less than 10 minutes drive. The village shop is good for the basics. We visited Oswestry,Shrewsbury, bala and Barmouth all less than an hour away.we loved it here and will definitely go back,oh and there was a lovely welcome basket the cake and chocolates didn’t last long."

"On arrival we were greeted to such a warm welcome by owners Glen and Marion. They gave us a tour of the cottage showing what’s facilities it had which we were delighted with. The cottage is situated in a beautiful location with stunning scenery. Private yet not isolated. The attention to detail in the property made it a home from home. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bed linen was high quality. It is very spacious with plenty of areas to relax. This is a child and dog friendly cottage. And honestly, you would never guess that a dog had stayed there. The entire cottage is immaculate!! We would highly recommend this cottage and will most definately staying again in the future!"

"A lovely comfortable and cosy cottage in a peaceful location. We arrived to find fresh flowers, cakes, tea, coffee, sugar and milk and juice in the fridge. A very welcome touch. The kitchen provided everything we needed for our weeks holiday. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The neaest shop, the Co-op is only a 5 minute walk away There was also a couple of pubs and a very good fish and chip shop, all within walking distance. The surrounding country side is stunning and we enjoyed many walks, some of which started a short distance from the cottage. Many thanks to Keith and Eirwen for providing such a lovely holiday home."

"A fantastic property with a lovely eco-house back story. Easily the cleanest place we've ever stayed - in fact the only holiday house where I've ever felt comfortable walking around in bare feet. The pictures of the property don't do it justice, it's a fantastic size for a 3 bed with all the facilities you would expect and more. It's obviously not what you would go for if you want to be in walking distance of shops and restaurants but for a country retreat/walking holiday it's ideal. It's not a naturally child-friendly place but we stayed with a 4 and 2 year old with no problem at all, just mind the stairs and tie up the blind cords!"
