What our customers are saying about our Child Friendly Cottages In Aldeburgh To Rent.

"Perfect for a short break and families - we stayed 4 nights. The master bed was gigantic (and we have a big one at home). The twin room was perfect for our two (9 & 13).The lounge is comfy with a small but perfectly formed log burner - with a free starter pack from the owners. When we arrived there was also milk, tea bags, rocky road and a bottle of Prosecco waiting - what a fantastic start after a long journey. The only downside is that water is heated via an immersion heater, so just make sure you shower consecutively - then its perfectly fine (otherwise the cold water entering the tank cools down the remaining hot water). Seriously, don't let it sop you, just be aware. We saw the owner briefly on arrival - very welcoming. We then had complete privacy.Nearby Orford, is a picture book delight and Rendlesham Forest with its UFO and Cycle Trails are a must. Just up the coast Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorepness are everything you want from the seaside.Book now - do it!"

"This is second time we have stayed at this property. It is on a main road which may be a bit off putting, but it is not busy and did not cause concern. Location is excellent with a Tesco and Co-op opposite, within a few minutes there is a lovely park and children's play area which you can walk through to the sea, about 15/20 minutes. House has plenty of room and a lovely secure garden ideal for young children or dogs. There is also a nice outdoor eating area. The cottage was spotless and obviously well cared for, this is a lovely area and a very nice cottage. I think you are better off than right into Aldeburgh as no parking issues and not so busy would well recommend."

"We only stayed for a couple of nights in Valley Farm Cottage, the location is fantastic and offers an opportunity to get away from it all. Each property has it's own small garden, at Valley Farm Cottage it is very private.Having stayed in the general area a few times recently we are familiar with the local towns and sights and would recommend to anyone. Only met the owner very briefly on arrival.Property has a very large master bedroom, with access to the rear garden. A huge bathroom, the open living, dining, kitchen space is compact but perfectly adequate."

"We had a lovely family weekend. The house is quirky, quaint and comfortable, with lots of places to explore. We had family meals every day and enjoyed the log fire and the piano. It was clean and warm and beds were comfortable. The garden was good for the dogs and sitting in the sun, we moved the bench to the grass. We had three cars and the garage door is waiting to be fixed but we managed to park two down the road, we didn't mind. The surrounding areas are stunning and we would love to go back in the summer one year."

"Aldeburgh is great and the cottage is just a few mins walk from the sea. Would recommend both! The only minor irritants were lack of clear instructions re recycling etc and the fact the garden is overlooked by art gallery next door (and people using steps the other side) which made the dash from the shower in the games room a bit challenging! PS. Can't park in front of cottage but okay on road behind cottages (via steps)."
