What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Chiddingstone To Rent.

"We had a lovely week at the Guards House. Great to be able to visit Leeds castle several times and make use of the playgrounds, restaurant and coffee shops. It would be nice if a footpath could link the property to the public footpath to the castle. The single track road to reach it is very busy and I felt quite uncomfortable walking down there with my children. Saying that use can always drive. The upstairs shower was very temperamental but otherwise the cottage was clean and pleasant. Nice to be able to bring the dog."

"Great place to stay, scored only 8 for comfort and equipment but actually comfort was good it was only equipment that marked it down but realise this is a lot to do with many different people using cooking pots pans etc. Owner helpful and friendly. A bit difficult to view tv the way furniture was placed, but decor lovely. Nothing to complain about and everything to recommend. Location lovely and peaceful and great for nature lovers. Would definitely return and recommend. We felt very much at home here."

"Cozy little cottage, the décor is a bit outdated but still comfortable, great location for long walks. During our stay we saw rabbits, deer, pheasants and lots of spring flowers. Local amenities are far but owners are extremely helpful and kindly offered to take us to the nearest shop or to buy us some groceries. I would recommend this cottage if you want a silent retreat to hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life."

"We had a fabulous week staying at the Guards House. The cottage was in a peaceful and pretty location, with easy access to Leeds Castle either a very short drive away or a pleasant walk through the woods. Beds were amazingly comfortable with soft fluffy pillows. Note of caution: Be careful on the access road as cars tend to drive very fast up and down here and it’s a single lane only with passing places and blind bends."

"Excellent accommodation. As an ex-farmer I spent plenty of time working in a corn bin, but never expected to actually stay in one! Thank you for the warm, friendly welcome and showing us the aircraft. We will definitely come back in the summer to see more of the area.Old Hastings; the harbour is really nice. Bexhill is very pleasant. Rye is a lovely old town. Hastings Country Park and Beachy Head well worth a look."
