What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Chichester To Rent.

"Very comfortable and welcoming; we really struck gold with this one! The cottage had just about everything you would want and more that we hadn't even thought of. Sarah and Bruce were very welcoming whilst also making sure we felt the cottage was ours for the time we were there. It was a real bonus to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy looking out over the fields and woods.Although the cottage was outside the village so you couldn't just walk to a local pub, for example, it was a very easy 20 minute drive to Portsmouth Park and Ride which was brilliant for Portsmouth and all it has to offer. Rowlands Castle is about a five minute drive away and has facilities such as a pubs, shops, post office, vet, and pharmacy. Rowlands Castle station is a stop for trains to London and Portsmouth."

"A very well located cottage for all we wanted to do and it was interesting to learn of the history of the cottage.Exceptionally well presented bathroom and kitchen with equipment available. Did think that perhaps pots and pans had been dishwasher washed as there was a powdery film over some of them and they had to be washed before use. Had to contact owner over one small issue and she was very obliging. A lovely welcome pack had been left for us. Amenities in village were very good re shopping and eating out. Fantastic chip shop!!Parking was a bit of concern as there was no guaranteed parking spot so you were always a little concerned about finding one. We always did but a walk away from cottage."

"Our second stay at the cottage and better than the first. Good pub/restaurants close by. Plenty of places to visit and we still have places we would like to see. Easy train ride to Brighton- better than by car- and we loved Brighton Pavilion. Second visit to Portsmouth Historic harbour - take the harbour tour - we still haven't seen everything after 2 full visits. The royal armouries - Fort Nelson - is also worth a visit and is free. Chichester is beautiful and a walk by the harbour is good. Arundel Castle is not far and we found Parham house a real gem. I could go on, there is so much to visit and love. Our hosts were very welcoming, always friendly and helpful."

"S13925 was clean and comfortable ... It is in the eves of the garage so my husband did hit his head several times and took a bit of getting used to. The dogs loved it but you have to walk along the road outside with no pavement to exercise them which is not ideal although there were some lovely walks once you get in the fields. Lots to do close by .... If your going to be out and about most of the time its a good base ... The balcony is good for the adults not so good for the dogs ... Its a shame it hasn't got a bit of allocated garden as this would make it easier with dogs but overall a lovely relaxing holiday and owners very accommodating ..."

"The Bull Pen is an extremely spacious and well equipped cottage. We didn't need the disabled facilities, but these are excellent for anyone who does. This is an excellent cottage for anyone looking for a break in the country. The village shop (yards from the cottage) is well supplied for all the essentials and has a lovely teashop in it as well. Supermarkets and towns are further away. We had a reception committee of a green woodpecker and saw a deer when walking in the woods at the back of the cottage as well as buzzards."
