"I've been staying in cottages for many years and Claire's Cottage is my favourite so far. Despite being tiny it is light, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped with a pretty garden. It has been restored beautifully retaining nearly all the original and historic features and it's interesting to look at the album showing photos of the restoration. The location is excellent. You can walk into Hythe (if you have the energy to walk back up the hill) which is a historic little town of great character and there are plenty of interesting places to see in the Romney Marshes without having to go far. If you have a wet day use it to go to Dungeness on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway! I have already recommended this cottage to a friend and I am sure I shall visit it again in the future."

"Thank you for the lovely welcome, really enjoyed the cream tea and for a wonderful holiday. The cottage is a real home from home, all the little details were covered. Restful décor and furnishings, very comfy bed. Communication very good and all queries answered quickly and small issue with the shower sorted immediately. So many lovely places to visit, spoilt for choice. Recommend Walmer Castle, Great Dixter gardens, Dymchurch beach, Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and Deal. A lovely atmosphere at the opening of the Hythe Festival. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. A huge bonus is the beautiful garden, eating breakfast and evening meals outside and just pottering!' Thank you"

"The Mount was lovely, well equipped and cosy. There were only 2 people and a dog at any one time and it was just right. The small bedroom was slightly more roomy than I expected from the reviews having a very small skylight in the roof. Although anyone with a tendancy to sit up in bed while half asleep would definitely come into contact with the sloping ceiling. The towl rail in the downstairs bathroom kept it lovely and warm , which I appreciated . I was particularly impressed by the number of accessible mirrors as sometimes it can be quite difficult to find anything decent to look in when in a holiday cottage. Altogether a very comfortable little place."

"Very nice accommodation .....apart from the single bedroom!! This was extremely small with a sloping ceiling right above the bed down to the side of the bed. This made it impossible to actually sit up in the bed and even to turn over in the bed meant that you were hitting the wall/ceiling with your arm!! Very disappointed as just couldn't sleep properly. Also, the garden is shared with other properties which is not mentioned in the description. The rest of the property is very comfortable and the view is fantastic but I do feel that the owner should be a bit more honest regarding the shortcomings"

"Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed staying at Well Cottage at the weekend. The property and surroundings were beautiful and you were the perfect host! We would love to return again in the future. When we left on Sunday we did the Jane Austen walk around Goodnestone and Chillenden which was from a map that Lynn gave us. It was really good, very well laid out footpaths etc with good instructions and we'd recommend it to future guests you have. Thank you, "
