"Thank you for a very enjoyable two weeks. We have been delighted with your property. The beautiful, peaceful location is perfect. The tasteful and quality fittings and furnishings have made this feel like a real home and the vase of sweet peas that filled the air with their delicate perfume was a lovely welcoming touch. We compliment you on your information folders, they are well thought out and very comprehensive. You have been delightful hosts, thank you for the home-made rhubarb ice cream, it was delicious. We had it with blackberries that we picked on a walk. The Nutmeg in Sayers Lane serves great coffee. Ozgur, the Turkish restaurant, is excellent value, especially the Tenterden Special, 4 courses and coffee with complimentary jalapenos and olives and melon to finish. The manager is very welcoming. There is much to see around here, Hever, Chartwell and Canterbury well worth a visit."

" A gem of a little cottage. Sitting on the edge of a huge apple orchard with abundant wildlife around you, a pond is also within the grounds. The cottage is away from the owners home and the cottage is not overlooked, the owners are definitely not intrusive, but on hand if needed and left all a good selection of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate biscuits. which was a lovely touch. Within a few minutes drive of couple of small shops, but we went prepared with everything we'd need for a weekend break so we didn't have to leave and I'm so glad we did as when it came time to go home, we really didn't want to go. The cottage has lots of repeat visitors and we could easily understand why, we will certainly go back. "

"Thank you for your generosity and hospitality and for the little extras (your chickens' eggs, honey, surprise cakes!) that you left for us. It was a weekend we'll never forget (in many ways) you definitely brought smiles to our faces. As for the cottage: 1) The setting entrance and grounds are so breathtakingly beautiful, 2) The cottage itself, wonderfully bright and airy, 3) The decor and features, most tastefully done, 4) The high quality of the utensils and appliances, a lovely touch and 5) The bed (and sofabed) are most comfortable. All this attention to detail was much appreciated by us both. We hope to return again in the near future and will always recommend your beautiful retreat"

"If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place, in an absolutely beautiful location. I can not fault this accommodation. All the fittings and furnishings are of high quality and everything was spotless. I particularly loved the colourful quirky cutlery! When we arrived there were sweetpeas in a vase, filling the air with their fragrance, a lovely touch! Amanda and Nick are excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They are new to this enterprise and are very keen to get things right and in my opinion have done so. I thoroughly recommend this property and rate this as the best ever!"

"Bay Tree Cottage is set in a perfect location for visiting surrounding attractions or day tripping to London. The cottage is part of a beautiful quiet farm which comprises of lovely old barns and oasts. Each morning we woke up to the sound of the cuckoo and baby lambs playing in the blossom filled orchards which the cottage over looked...idyllic! Bay tree cottage has been refurbished to provide all the modern facilities you could want from a holiday cottage yet keeping immense charm. When we return to Kent we would definitely book this cottage again."
