"S33561 has the most beautiful view. The apartment has an excellent layout. The hot tub is wonderful and although it’s on your own balcony it’s hardly private. A welcome box awaits you but don’t expect to find any local goodies in it, it’s got goodies from Tesco’s promotion ends in it. The apartment on first glance looks clean. There are dust balls under the furniture. You can see the wipe marks all over the kitchen units and furniture. The patio windows are full of dog marks, as well as the soft furnishings bearing the reminder that a dog had been staying. In the bathroom the shower cubicle is full of mould with a beautiful piece of mildrew on the shower head. The blinds in there are also mouldy. The wardrobe in the main bedroom is full of bedding and Christmas decorations so no room for you to hang up your clothes. The mattress is quite thin and had better days, needs replacing. Very uncomfortable to sleep on. The only room that had all lightbulbs working was the main bedroom. A shocking amount of lightbulbs not working! There are various pieces of paper around the apartment telling you where to empty the bins and how to get more hot water. Why not put it all in a welcome folder with ideas and suggestions what to do locally. Might also be helpful to let you know how to operate the underfloor heating. It was only on in the main room. The boiler is also in the wardrobe in the main bedroom and makes noises all night long. No DVD player, even though it was listed. Watch out for the man that comes every morning to check on the hot tub. No mention of that anywhere! This apartment is marketed as luxury and could well be if someone was taking a bit more care with it. However there is a distinct air (not including the smell of mould) that it is not loved and taken care off."

"On arrival to the cottage you're instantly greeted with stunning views and a nice sense of remoteness. The front door leads you into a small wooden vestibule and a further door into the open plan dining lounge area with a small wooden burner and separated by solid thick stone arches. To the left and through a doorway under the stairs is the large fully equipped kitchen and to the right is a small snug area with TV, a rear boot room/utility and wc. Upstairs off the landing is a double bedroom and bathroom to the right and a single and further double with ensuite to the left. Overall the facilities are very good, nice to have a couple of bottles of wine waiting for us, the location great and the views stunning. A few niggles - a basket of logs and starter log were supplied but nothing to light it with, we had to borrow from the neighbouring barn. You can't relax in front of the fire watching TV as they're in different rooms. The general cleanliness was a bit disappointing like mouldy/dirty shower screens, toothpaste on taps, some slightly dirty cups, some cobwebs and dust. We didn't complain about it (although contemplated) as I'm sure someone would have been sent to clean but in all honesty it should already have been done. This didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay but certainly not expected from a 5* accommodation. We would certainly recommend S27042 and would stay again. (we left a large box of matches for the fire)"

"We all loved the cottage, the decoration, the homely feel of the place was second to none. We walked the 5 minutes to the beach at least twice a day (very flat rout and easy to find, perfect for running and biking) - the kids loved finding crabs under the rocks :) and our dog loved every minute of it.The cottage is close to a few supermarkets, a train station, restaurants, lots of takeaways and bakeries etc. Great local amenities. We loved the little folder the owners left out with suggestions on where to eat and where to go.We just weren't too keen on the surrounding estate. There was a park over the road but every time we walked past it there were groups of teenagers drinking/smoking so we walked past and went to the one next to the beach, which is lovely. We were also unfortunate enough to go during the plague of flies! Hundreds of the things were in the house. We made use of the can of fly spray left under the sink and the next door neighbours gave us some fly strips which were full after a few hours :(. Not the owner's fault I know but worth a mention. The problem was mentioned loads of times on the local radio. All in all, we had a great holiday and the cottage and the garden was gorgeous."

"Stayed here with my 3 friends (we have been friends for 20+ years) and once a year we have a weekend away to catch up, chill, drink and eat. We arrived Friday afternoon, unpacked cracked open the wine and cooked a meal, everything you can think of in the kitchen was there, nothing overlooked and waiting for us on our arrival was proseco and home made cakes, a lovely touch. The converted barn is amazing, the decoration superb and all the 'detail' made it very special, the bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic, as was everything, first class, highly recommend it and will definitely be returning in the future, oh nearly forgot (and how could I) the hot tub, fab fab fab.The highlight of the whole weekend was on the Saturday, early evening, the family had been out with their two dogs and rounded up the sheep and we watched from inside as they were herded right past us and back into the farm behind....fantastic sight."

"Brilliant cottage for us and our kids. Whilst we were very lucky with the weather (two days of sunshine in February) it wouldn't have mattered so much as there was tonnes of space for everyone. The bedrooms were all very comfortable with mostly en suite bathrooms. Very well fitted out kitchen and a huge living room with very comfortable reclining sofas. There was a wood burner but we didn't need it as the heating was more than adequate. The best bit was the adjoining games room however which kept everyone amused in the evenings- table tennis, swingball, pool, table football etc. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was well located for the stunning beaches at Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay."
