"I really don't want to tell you about The Lodge as we want to keep it a secret for ourselves. It is one of the best of it's type we have stayed in. Clive and Kai have managed to package a top class product. Everything and I mean everything is of the highest standard from the property grounds , furnishings , cleanliness and facilities. You will need to look very hard to find better, I assure you. However, it is not only the grounds and property that are first rate, Clive and Kai are helpful, friendly and strike the perfect balance as proprietors. I hope they are truly proud of what they have. Gail, Lilly ( the tail wagger) and myself just want a quality hideaway and The Lodge suits our needs perfectly. Peace , quiet, stunning accommodation and a cold one. So much so we are returning soon. But it is also ideal for walkers, day trippers and explorers alike.Serene - sums up The Lodge for us.Gail and John - stayed June 2018."

"We were very pleased with our choice of S41677 for our family holiday in celebration of my 60th Birthday. A charming cottage, fantastic for a family holiday. It was as described on the website and exceeded our expectations. Well equipped, tastefully furnished, comfortable and very clean. Good welcome basket, fresh bread and delicious home-made marmalade. The owner Laura was very helpful, also provided excellent suggestions of places in the area to visit.Friendly villagers. Enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast in The Rattlebone Inn. The Angel Hotel served up wonderful breakfasts. The village store was well stocked, open every day early and into the evening.Wonderfully placed for The Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol and touring Wiltshire/Gloucestershire.I would definitely recommend and hope to return. Thank you Laura, we had a truly special and memorable time."

"Nice bungalow, very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Friendly owner who showed us around and was helpful with local info and ideas of places to visit. The carparking space and turning area available were no problem at all for our small car but would perhaps be tricky for an estate/large family car or for anyone not too confident on manovering their vehicle. That said, the property was spacious, clean and the owner had thought of the little extras that make a self-catering holiday easier. Lots of books/dvds and an excellent washing machine and tumble dryer with a brilliant heated rail above for drying off items. We visited in February but I would imagine that in the spring/summer the gardens would be an added bonus. Bath is as lovely as I remembered it with loads to see and do. Great holiday 🙂"

"This cottage, particularly from the outside, gives an impression of a lack of care. The garden is overgrown to the extent that we had to push our way through wet plants that hung right across the path in order to get to the door.Items that were needed were not there. In the literature we were told that both TVs had DVDs attached. One did not and when we pointed this out we were brushed off. The 'Welcome Basket' was full of items that no one in there right mind would consider using. Raspberry leaf tea! Cider flavoured with cloves! Elderflower cordial and a bottle of water! Also the bread was totally inedible. As a regular and, usually very satisfied customer, we were very disappointed. If this is R-R moving down market perhaps we will re-consider next year's holiday."

"Boohoo! We're going home tomorrow… We've loved it here… all the home comforts, so well laid out/ designed and what a tremendous village! We've done the Malmesbury River Walk… lovely (even in my Italian designer shoes – NOT recommended!) The 6 ½ mile Easton Grey round walk… yes, we got lost but we were in the middle of Storm Frank, so a well earned delicious meal at The Rattlebone was just what the doctor ordered….. highly recommended. BUT. The most amazing thing. 15 years we've been meeting at our house on Boxing Day and always have a huge list of breakages, tears and tantrums and this year at Little Maunditts… not a single breakage, tear or tantrum… for this alone it has been superb! Thank you Laura."
