Lancashire Cottage Holidays
Varied landscapes and rare wildlife
From Morecambe Bay to the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire offers a diverse range of things to do and places to visit. Its famous coastline includes gems such as Blackpool, the Ribble Estuary National Nature Reserve and, of course, Morecambe.
There’s plenty more to enjoy away from the seaside. The Forest of Bowland is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and covers over 800 square kilometres. It’s an excellent place to visit for bird watching, photography, walking, cycling and stargazing. There are also many welcoming towns and villages to stay in across the county. Depending on when you choose to visit, you may be able to catch one of the many events taking place throughout the year.

Lancashire is home to miles of countryside and moorland, as well as a network of waterways. It’s perfect for outdoor adventures or a simple afternoon stroll.

With such stunning views and a wild range of wildlife to spot, there is something waiting for you around every corner. Over 350 bird species have been recorded here and the stargazing it pretty exceptional too.
