For a different kind of celebration, head to Manchester this January. The Dragon Parade will be taking place on Sunday 10th February. This parade is in celebration of Chinese New Year and it will be led by a 175 foot dragon. There will also be dancing, street food, a funfair and fireworks.
Snowdrop Walks at Rode Hall Gardens
Spring hasn’t quite sprung, but this month you should start to see snowdrops blooming. These pretty, dainty plants can be found in their hundreds at Rode Hall Gardens in Cheshire. From Saturday 2nd February, until early March, you can enjoy this stunning display as you follow the mile-long walk.
