Cadbury and the National Trust are teaming up for Easter to offer some wonderfully fun days out for the whole family. National Trust sites across the UK will be putting on plenty of Easter-themed events, including Easter egg hunts with Cadbury’s chocolate. So gather your family and find your closest egg hunt!
The Easter Eggspress at GWSR
The Easter Eggspress has it all; a scenic train ride, Easter crafts and Easter treats. On Monday 22nd April 2019 jump on the train at Cheltenham Race Course, Toddington or Broadway Station and ride through gorgeous Cotswolds countryside to Winchcombe where there will be plenty of crafts and activities for your little ones to enjoy.
York Chocolate Festival
Calling all chocolate lovers. York Chocolate Festival is returning this Easter, and it will be taking place from Thursday 18th – Monday 22nd April 2019. You can explore the beautiful city of York and enjoy all sorts of delicious chocolate treats. It’s up there as one of the best ways to spend the four day weekend.
Easter Duck Trail at WWT Welney Wetland Centre
For some family-friendly fun, head to Welney Wetland Centre between Saturday 6th April and Monday 22nd April 2019. Track down the missing yellow ducks and be in with a chance of winning a tasty prize. There are inside crafts to enjoy too if the weather isn’t in your favour.
The Easter Fair is coming to Southampton Common from Thursday 18th to Sunday 28th April 2019. There will be rides for all the family, from inflatable slides to dodgems and a ghost train. It’s a great way to keep the kids entertained and you can explore the vibrant town of Southampton too.
