What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Bromsgrove District To Rent.

"The cottage was well equipped, comfortable but a little tired looking. The patio area outside the back was looking very unkempt and although I appreciate it was winter time, could have been kept a lot cleaner and tidier. Although we knew that there was no Wi-fi at the property, what we did not know was that it was in a ‘dip’ which meant there was no mobile phone service (Vodafone). It was important for us to keep in touch with family and with very elderly parents, it was important that we could be contacted in an emergency. This was not possible which meant we had to drive out every day in order to get a signal to contact family. The cottage also advertises a full sky package but sky cinema is not available so we could not access sky movies. We spent the first day of our break trawling Telford stores to try and find a way of setting up something to give us access to the outside world ie a cable to give us Wi-fi or a signal booster for the phone, (as this is what the property owner told us he uses in his property next door) to no avail, apparently you cannot use a signal booster without Wi-fi. We feel that people should know when staying at this property that there is no level of communication from the property (on Vodafone). I can’t comment on other networks but I think people should be aware that they may be completely cut off at this property."

"S80330 amply fulfilled our expectations. Everything was as described, or better. Privacy combined with convenience to make sitting out a real pleasure, and the views over the garden and to the Severn Plain were magnificent. The flat was very well equipped: we also particularly liked the fact that non-essential items, like antique/retro clocks and radio, actually worked and were not mere ornaments. This feature suggested steady attention to detail, and to the creation of atmosphere. Speaking of which, the flat had a charm and a character difficult to capture in photos. The flow and layout of the rooms felt good, and there was space on every hand, with plenty of light and visibility where needed. We valued the fact that the town centre was an easy walk away, for us anyway. The general sense of relaxation was underpinned by the phone conversation we had with the owner a week before visiting. We found this reassuring, with an invitation to ring at any time of day or night if we needed to. We would have welcomed some written guidance to help us recycle materials, and we also found the outside bins full: perhaps we missed something. No other reservations at all.Definitely a 'Buy'."

"This is a lovely clean and comfy house I.e comfy beds and sofas. Unfortunately my husband and I are tall 5ft 8 and 5ft 11 so some door ways are too low for us especially the kitchen which one uses a lot of course but if you are below 5 ft 5 then perfect. Don't remember seeing that in the details but would be good to note if not. Don't know if brook house is the same but from the outside that looked lovely too. Gardens were brilliant for our little dog, grass all nicely cut thank u, she appreciated that cos she is only a Pekingese with little legs. Very helpful housekeeper. Village is idyllic even heard a cuckoo! Owls hooting at night, lovely. Roads very narrow and pot holy so not a quick trip into Ledbury. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep."

"This house is very spacious and very well maintained. We were very comfortable in it, the beds, the showers, and the public room furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and looked after our needs when they arose. The owner had gone to the trouble of producing a booklet that contained all the local attractions - properties to visit, canal and other walks, pubs, museums, etc. We only had time to do a couple of these so will have to return to do some of the others, like Ragley Hall. The only downside was not of the owner's making - the postcode led my satnav astray and we had to end up asking the way. If you can use the address of the property rather than its postcode, you will be able to find the property."

"I had a glorious week staying in S16937 with a group of friends this spring. The cottage is very attractive, well-equipped and spacious, with plenty of room for all of us, seven adults. I would have given it 10 of 10 rating were it not for the old-fashioned, quirky and inconvenient layout of the rooms on the round floor: like most people these days I prefer a large open plan kitchen, but S16937 has a medium-sized kitchen plus utility and pantry, which left us all struggling to remember where we had put things down. The taller members of our group managed to bang their heads on the low beams and doorways multiple times - again, something you have to expect in a period property, and at 5ft 9ins, I managed to remain unscathed all week."
