"Lovely holiday cottage, extremely well-presented and equipped to a high standard. It is in a quiet location but only two minutes from the main road so is still ideal for touring Skye. Although the holiday accommodation is a separate part of the owner's home, it is very private and quiet. There are views of the Red Cuillins from the lounge and bedrooms plus views of the sea and mountains of Wester Ross from the master bedroom. A few minutes walk takes you to the water's edge and local restuarant. A few minutes drive take you to cafes, supermarket and petrol station in Broadford with easy access to the main road and links to the rest of Skye. The owners were very welcoming, even coming to find us when we couldn't find them! They were very helpful and available should we need them for any information or suggestions as to what to do in the area or where to eat.We enjoyed the Welcome pack goodies and the family hens' eggs.We would not hesitate to recommend the property and hope to be back again."

"This was our first time on the Isle of Skye and S49740 cottage was the perfect place to stay.... a real home from home with everything you could ask for! Comfortable, stylish, cosy warm, plenty of entertainment for the kids, kitchen gadgets galore! It also made the perfect place for exploring on the island or getting back across to the mainland. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here, we would love to come back!! Just a little tip about household shopping, there is a good local Co-Op about a mile away that has a good selection, but we ordered a 'click & collect' from Tesco, unaware that there is not actually a Tesco on the island - you pick up from a delivery truck in the car park at the local library - we spent a good 30 mins looking for a Tesco store lol!"

"Finding cabin on first day was a little difficult as we had come from the ferry and the instructions were from the bridge so this needs to be tweeked. Cabin was all we hoped for and more. Lovely location by the coastline in a quiet area away from the tourists. Pleasant walk into Broadford. Cabin was immaculate and homely and really appreciated the scones, jam, and eggs on arrival.Flora the owner was lovely and was there if we needed her.The cabin is light and airy and cosy in the evenings and was of a good standard which Flora should be proud of.Saw lots of birds but did not hear much from them.Thoroughly recommend S38174"

"We had a wonderful week in July with our 2 children aged 8 and 10. This new cottage has been very tastefully fitted out with lots of nice touches throughout and we all loved the ‘upside down’ house with views from the living quarters upstairs. From a practical level there were lots of small items provided that are easy to forget that all help to avoid a bigger shop. The house is in a great location being close enough to the mainland for daytripping if desired (although we didn’t) and also within 5 minutes of local facilities in Broadford. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend."

"A beautiful, comfortable and cosy cottage with all the equipment you could ever need. The decor in the bright and airy lounge has given us some good ideas for an impending move! There is a wonderful cottage garden safely enclosed from the stream running at the bottom where our little dog loved to get a drink after a good walk. Lots of videos and games for the one day we couldn't go walking. Small problem was swiftly remedied by the owner who has been very informative, helpful and friendly both before our arrival and afterwards."
