"The setting in the heart of Bronte country is spectacular. The cottage is perched in a beautiful spot only a 2 mile walk from Top Withins (the location Emily Bronte had in her mind to base the house Wuthering Heights). The cottage itself is a beautifully converted barn which blew us away. It is flawless , tasteful and spotlessly clean. Lovely flagstone floors with underfloor heating on the ground floor and gorgeous oak floorboards upstairs. Cheeky wooden beams and solid oak furniture adorn the cottage and you definitely won't be disappointed by the king size bed and feather down duvet! The owners have literally thought of everything you may need and we're excellent at communicating - nothing was too much trouble. And to top it all off....a hot tub...with stunning views. Plus a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates amongst other goodies are waiting welcome you. There is space for dogs and small children to run off some energy before relaxing in front of a HUGE TV, complete with Sky and internet access. I must also mention how peaceful it is, just the sound of birdsong and the distant call of game and horses. I simply cannot praise this accommodation enough and if you are in any doubt....please don't delay. Book today! You will LOVE it!!!!!"

"This is a lovely cottage in a excellent location in Ilkley. We had everything we could need within a very short walking distance and the view of the moor from our windows was gorgeous. The property is very well equipped and the bedrooms were incredibly spacious. The owners were lovely and popped in to check that everything was ok, recommending some nearby restaurants and a fantastic chip shop! I would definitely book this property again. As a party of three adults, this was a perfect place but a party of six might find the single bathroom on the top floor an issue, and the fact that you have to go out the front door to access the garden, if you have small children."

"Refurbished to the highest standards with top quality furnishings. Everything was supplied for a very high standard self catering holiday. The multi fuel burner sitting in an inglenook fireplace being a fabulous feature in the lounge. Perhaps a negative would be that it sits on a busy road and can sometimes be quite noisy at times. However this didn't particularly bother us because a big positive for us was that there was a regular hourly public bus service, with a bus stop just up the road ..."

"Very clean and cosy, and very well thought and laid out, Moor Skies was a perfect place to stay for a long weekend to explore Bronte country. The owners had thought of everything - from quality crockery and space saving appliances to the thoughtful basket of groceries (including a dog treat for our four legged friend). Set in an ideal location, within walking distance of some of the dales spectacular scenery (like Top Withins) and also the pretty bustling village of Haworth, we throughly ..."

"There was even a loaf of bread milk & butter which was totally unexpected. The bed is really comfortable. The shower took a bit of fiddling to get to a suitable temperature but it was freezing outside which certainly won’t help. I can honestly say there is nothing bad to say about this place. It was a tranquil relaxing cosy break. The log burning stove made the place so warm we had to open the windows a bit but there is a small radiator & also a fan heater if you don’t want to light it."
