What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Boot To Rent.

"A very tired looking accommodation, initially seemed very sweet and homely. However when you looked a bit deeper broken light shades, light bulbs out in most of the rooms, insulation tape holding shower head up ,dirty bath, Curtains in the main bedroom didn't close had to use pegs, the plugs socket in bedrooms poorly placed, the fridge didn't keep cool and the freezer had broken drawers and over frosted. For 8 people another toilet would have been useful there is room for an on -suit off the main bedroom. We didn't think it was value for money it was all shabby and dated.Saying that our dogs loved being safe in the fenced in area and if the owners repaired and replaced items that are damaged we would go back. From the Davies Gang"

"This cottage was sweet and bijou, it was to small for us. Apart from the fridge, no cupboard to put food in. The cultery was in an open tray under the sink waste. The bed was very comfy, but hitting your head on the beams that were very low above the bed was no fun. Warning for dog owners there is no fenced in garden for you to let them out in. There is a large owners garden, must be on lead. Lucky it was not hot you could not reach downstairs windows to open, and having dogs you could not leave door open. We had problems with cooker, toilet flush, key, and TV, only the last day did it seem to get better and you didn't get the picture braking every five minutes. The area was lovely, and Loggerheads very near and dogs love it."

"A wonderful stay, we enjoyed it so much, a great base, easy to get to other places of interest or just the beach. every thing was provided, even down to milk in the fridge and biscuits on our arrival. we were so thankful for that little bit of extra thoughtfulness. Every thing worked ok, and we enjoyed the lovely garden of an evening, we would use this property again, only thing was no extractor fan in bathroom and as the heat was so bad the poor window would not open, this was by no way anyones fault, just our lovely sunshine. I would like to thank the owners for one of the best holidays we have had in a number of years, well done keep going, we will be back."

"Boiler service was out of date, was told it would be serviced on second day of our stay, unsure if it was as we weren’t informed or left proof of service, there wasn’t any batteries in the carbon monoxide detector (I had to inform the owner who later fitted them) the smoke detector didn’t work either and a new battery had to be fitted. The mattress, pillows and bedding were all of poor quality, the mattress protector had seen better days and one bed didn’t have a mattress protector at all. Also a lot of the furniture looked tired and had seen better days.In the bathroom the shower head was completely broken and unusable.and The grouting needed renewing."

"The location was great with good local amenities and access to public transport. Also the neighbours were very friendly and helpful. The house was comfortable and had most of what we needed for our stay. It was the overall cleanliness - or lack thereof - and the untidy gardens that let this place down. Also the quirky ideas about bed linen. I would recommend the front garden be turned into off road parking, as per the rest of the street, so that customer's cars are out of the way of the enormous tractors that thunder past twice a day. All this place really needs is a bit of time spent on it to deep clean the house and overhaul the gardens."
