"We had a really lovely holiday in this fabulous accommodation. The picture of the outside gives no hint of how big or private it was. All the bedrooms were very spacious and the bedding so nice we have bought a new duvet from the same source. There was plenty of room in the sitting and dining room for 7 adults and one 12 year old. The supply of kitchen equipment meant that we were able to cook everything we wanted to, which is not always true of self catering, and there was enough china for breakfast and dinner, so that we only had to run the dishwasher once a day. We have enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to come again next year. We were particularly tickled by the descriptions of the area written by the owner, and would refer you to the folder with the name of the property on it. We chose this property because of the places you could go to in the wet, but actually we had lovely weather most of the time we were here. Aug 2011."

"We absolutely loved S13870! It was provided a great rendezvous point for our large family to gather in celebration of our youngest boy’s 21st birthday - 5 children (3 with partners), 1 tiny grandson and ourselves. Pictures don’t do the accommodation justice and the place has was finished to a higher spec than anticipated. It is well equipped and extremely comfortable. Big squashy sofas, large round dining table and best of all, the most comfortable beds/linen etc I’ve ever found in a holiday let. Had a poke around and found that our bedroom was all John Lewis feather and down duvets, luxury mattress etc - lovely! We played rounders on the field in front and our grandson really enjoyed the horses in the adjacent paddock. Hannah was exceptionally helpful with with the details surrounding our requirements and so I highly recommend this property. We would love to return in the future. Feb 2012."

"We had a lovely 2 weeks at the cottage in August. It is spacious, comfortable and has all the equipment you could want. It has 2 local shops & big Sainsbury & Tesco is about a 5-10 mins drive away. We didn't use the local pubs as they are quite expensive, but there is a Hungry Horse, Pizza Hut & several take away shops nearby. We visited Portsmouth, Chichester, Brighton & Bognor Regis several times and enjoyed the sites and attractions they had to offer. The only things I was disappointed with was the original Hot tube wasn't working and a temporary one was supplied. This errored a few times and we had to google to find out what was wrong with it, most of the time it was just the filter which we replaced and then had to wash a few times. All in all we had a great stay in a lovely cottage."

"Seven of us friends go away for a long weekend together once a year and this was definitely one of the best properties we've stayed in, if not the best. We enjoyed a few drinks at the jolly Murrell Arms, just a stone's throw from the cottage, and a great value Indian meal at the Passage to India in the village. Sunday lunch at 47 Mussel Row in Littlehampton was delicious. We loved the big round dining table in the kitchen and the lovely log burner and sofas in the lounge. We'd happily go back to S13870 for our next weekend away (though I think the owner is going to stop letting the cottage for weekends)."

"Stayed for a week beginning of May with all the family to celebrate 'Grandads ' 70th birthday ... What an amazing place it is can not fault it .. Plenty dishes/glasses etc enough even for when friends came for a BBQ.. Our group consisted of 3 family's and we did not find ourselves getting in each other's way plenty rooms for all ages from 70years to 6 months.. The lounge was really comfortable and great for sitting in the evenings playing games when all the kids where in bed .. Tip .. If you are like us with grandchildren in tow pick the room off the lounge then you do not get disturbed in the night "
