"We stayed in S19353 for a week in August 2016 with two children and grandparents. We had great weather which always helps but we all had a fabulous time. The owners were very helpful and very friendly and the on-site shop sells most essentials plus delicious fresh products from the farm. The cottage was much larger than other holiday lets we've stayed at, with its own BBQ and outside table and chairs, and the heated pool (lovely and warm) and kids play park were a huge bonus and were used every day by the kids. There is so much to do within 30 minutes travelling in any direction that we could come back several times and do something new each day. My son loved the fact it was a working farm and he could watch a variety of farm vehicles at work and see chickens roaming close by. However this does mean there can be noisy animals in the night so take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! If it wasn't for a few nit picking details (like no clothes line/airer to dry swimming stuff on; dirty floors on arrival (discovered by us all having black feet after a few hours in the cottage); permanently warm/heated floors even in warm weather and bathroom door locks that didn't work) then I would have given 10 stars as its a really nice place and suited us well. We would definitely go back here!"

"We were welcomed with big smiles from all the family and they couldn't do enough for us on arrival. The accommodation was fantastic, very modern and well equipped, right down to kitchen essentials and a welcoming box of gorgeous home made cup cakes and free range eggs courtesy of the farms chickens. Only slight negative was attention to bathroom cleanliness but definitely wasn't something to cause a fuss about. The on site pool was a great addition, clean and safe, other facilities in and around the site for all to use were very well maintained. Our dog had just as wonderful break as we did and the free roaming chickens were quite entertaining for him! Only down side was lack of public footpaths in the immediate vicinity, had to keep taking the dog out in the car. Maybe a games room of sorts would be an advantage at some stage but overall we had a fabulous break, would definitely recommend to friends and will be back sometime next year. Many thanks for making it such a lovely break away."

"We had stayed in this cottage before, with a two-year-old and twelve-year-old and really enjoyed our holiday there. This time we were very disappointed that the use of the garage has been withdrawn, especially as it was listed in the property description when we booked and also on the instructions for access, which were sent a short time before we left for our holiday. We would not have booked if we had known we would have parking problems. On a positive note, the cottage is nicely decorated, with great facilities. The kitchen is really well equipped, there are also a washing machine, dryer and freezer. The decor is rather tired and the double bed was the most uncomfortable we have encountered anywhere - a new mattress would be great (not a hard one), but the other beds were very comfortable. Overall, the cottage is really very nice and worth booking, especially if you have no vehicle to worry about, or it's out of the main season, so that parking would be much easier."

"This is a nice house on a small up-market estate on the outskirts of Leison . The parking is about 100yds from the house. It is a quiet area with well tended gardens. The rooms are pleasant and the lounge leads to a pretty enclosed garden which would probably be good for small children or dogs. There is a stair gate at the base of the stairs with a notice saying that dogs are not allowed upstairs. I would recommend the house for a holiday. It is generally very clean apart from one or two pots or pans which needed a scrub before use. I would prefer white bedding linen to the multi-coloured provided, but that's just personal preference. The house comes well supplied with cleaning materials etc and we were delighted to find that we had been left a carton of milk and some bread and butter so we could have a cup of tea when we arrived. We had a lovely break in this house. It's just a few minutes drive to the coast at Sizewell and not far from Aldeburgh."

"S17974 is a clean, spacious house on a lovely little housing development 10-15 minutes' walk from the town centre, right next to a church.Enclosed garden is ideal if you have a dog. There are dog bowls and leads provided. Very good range of kitchen equipment, so great if you love cooking! Towels provided were very small, very thin, and scratchy. I would not provide these to guests staying in my home, let alone paying ones. (to be honest, I would not even dry my dog with them). There is no internet access, not even a DVD player, so S17974 would not be a good choice if you're staying more than a few days and the weather is not good, or if you have children. Toilet roll, kitchen roll, handwash, hairdryer provided which was very helpful. No Welcome Pack or general information provided, i.e. with regards to when the heating and hot water come on, no recycling instructions."
