"Stayed here in the middle of the heatwave and the pool was a valuable asset. Was great as we could book sessions so could teach grandson to swim without distractions etc which was great. Emma was quick to supply to us with a fan to ensure the heat was not a problem. We moan when its hot and we moan when its cold......Everything you need was in the house and the games area and outdoor play space was great even in the heat. Stair gate provided at the bottom of stairs so is fixed. Showers were hot and nice large kitchen to eat in. TV and DVD to keep you amused and if you want to pop out then whitchurch is close by and shops easy to access.Fresh Milk and Tea and Coffee provided by Emma and James so overall was easy and enjoyable - would go again without doubt"

"We had a family gathering (8 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs) to celebrate a 70th birthday. We loved the spaciousness of the property - the beds were comfortable and it was spotlessly clean.Being a historic listed building, there was not the level of "luxury" one might get in other places, but perfectly adequate. The older children used the internet service extensively, though this was subject to speed restrictions, which caused some frustration. The outdoor table-tennis was a surprise - and we had the beautiful weather to use it.We were pleased that our visit coincided with one of the 6 days a year when the NT part of the house was open to the public - a real bonus. The road access had rather a lot of potholes, but this is not unexpected in a farm track."

"Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings with friendly and helpful owners. Our only disappointment related to the isolation - we prefer to be able to walk to a pub/shop, but a car was essential for such visits. This house would suit walkers or people arriving fully prepared for being cut off for a few days. We wouldn't come again, but only for that reason. The house itself and the area in general I would fully recommend. NB: one of our party experienced a nasty fall on the very slippy decking, which only luck prevented causing serious injury. We would recommend that chicken wire or some other form of grip be put down to prevent further such incident (on the area by the double doors)."

"This is a really lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. The rather tortuous journey on very narrow lanes can't be complained about and is a price worth paying for such a wonderful peaceful setting and fantastic views. The patio is a great place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunshine. We really appreciated the provisions Karon left for us and all the homely touches in the cottage. The only reason we didn't give 10 out of 10 under the heading of comfort and equipment was that we could have done with a few more mugs etc to save putting the dishwasher on as often. However, this is a very small point and really we couldn't fault it as a lovely place to stay."

"This is a super place to stay, great location with so many local places to visit and explore. Woore has its own bakery, two pubs pretty much at the end of the drive. The property has been recently renovated and it is fabulous, quality modern furnishings, well equipped and spotless. We are a family of four but with three bedrooms, one on ground floor with down stairs loo, this is really flexible accommodation. We met the owners a couple of times as they live in the Manor House, they were very helpful and certainly wanted to ensure we had the best experience. We were delighted and would live to return to explore the area further."
