What our customers are saying about our Big Cottages In Angus To Rent.
Mrs Helen Murphy, Cwmbran, Torfaen - verified booking
"Wonderful size property with lots of room to spread out. Lovely features such as original fire places, sash windows and a wonderful staircase. Billiard room kept many occupied in the evenings whilst others enjoyed the peace of the drawing room. All bedrooms have their own en-suite (baths with showers over), these are spacious and all in our party of 10 slept well. As there is no pub within walking distance, the Bar had plenty of use, it's generously equipped with plenty of fridge space. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas for kids to play and explore. We used the external caterers recommended the owner for a 50th Birthday celebration. We would highly recommend these to anyone looking to have a special meal during their stay."

"All facilities needed were available in the cottage. Broadband excellent, Dishwasher, Superb comfy beds, Grand shower, 2 loos, Huge sofas, Light and Airy ambience. Easy walk is Armstrong's a very good restaurant and bar. Kirriemuir, a short drive away (hours walk or so on pavements), is a lovely old red town with good pubs, Camera Obscura, Bon Scott and JM Barrie attractions and a good Co-Op. Good Takeaways aswell ! Forfar 15 mins drive away, with more shops and Tesco/Lidl/Aldi. The free leaflets available at Tourist Info for walks around Kirriemuir, Forfar, Arbroath, Brechin, Montrose, Carnoustie etc.. were a real boon with the dogs. Louise the owner was very helpful and available. All in All... First Class !"

"The Beauty of Glen Clova and the perfect location to hill walk and see nature fauna and Flaura at its best We had Beautiful weather and the cottage allowed a family party to have a reunion and perfect stay at the southern edge of the Caingorms The House was spacious and the Aga made it Home From Home The sitting room was tastefully furnished with pleasant sporting prints decorating the Walls Fishing was available from the estate and lovely to find a trust system in place to pay for the fishing taken on the Lochs No mobile phone signal was a blessing but there was internet Access at the house that allow one to keep in touch with the outside world A real get away and a lovely week at the begining of June"
Mr David Salt, Harpenden, Hertfordshire - verified booking
"S5283 is a fantastic house especially for a large party (we were 10 in total plus 3 dogs). All the bedrooms were enormous with lovely furnishings in keeping with the house and spacious en suite bathrooms. The roomy living accommodation meant that we were never on top of each other and with plenty of entertainment from the billiard room, table tennis and board games, we were never short of things to keep us amused. The house was everything we had hoped for and more, a really enormous place with delightful furnishings and within easy reach of some interesting and beautiful places to visit from lovely beaches to historic houses; Angus has it all!"
Mrs Ray Walker, Inverurie, - verified booking
"The house is in a very quiet and spacious area with plenty of room for car parking, and the children spent a lot of time wandering about the large garden area. The house is also spacious with nooks and crannies and secret staircases which was also great for the children. The adults enjoyed the comfortable chairs in the many sitting rooms and the dining room set for 12 was super for all eating together. We all used the table tennis and the pool table and spent many evenings playing cards. There is plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The décor is olde worldly and comfortable. The kitchen was large and plenty of utensils."
