"Each year around Easter time we have go away with our friends to a lodge or barn property where we can find beautiful walks and enjoy exploring small towns and country pubs. We have always had great experiences but at this property the owner, Lin ,went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable and enjoyable holiday, she was amazing! The barn was very clean and tidy and surprisingly very warm considering there was snow on arrival. It is exactly as the pictures portray, if not better (it was a little bigger than expected) The views from the barn are beautiful and even better from the hot tub which was cleaned almost each day of our stay and big enough for 4 adults. When we arrived Lin had left us all of the information we needed and even left us eggs from the farm and milk, tea and coffee. She left us to enjoy our holiday but we knew she was close by and happy to help should we have needed her. Lin recommended some excellent places to eat and towns to explore. Ludlow was our favourite! It is a beautiful market town that reminded us of a smaller version of York/Chester. The barn is secluded but there are lots of lovely walks and places to explore within driving distance, we managed with a 7 month old baby! Overall a wonderful place to stay to rest, refuel and get away from busyness! Thank you so much Lin, we had the best Easter trip yet!"

"We had a fantastic holiday at No.S89378 in July. It’s in an idyllic spot, where the only noise you can hear is the occasional sheep bleating & the view is just stunning from the front of the property. The barn is beautifully decorated, with comfy seating, big wardrobes, high ceilings and a great rainfall shower. The kitchen was really well equipped (better than ours at home I think!) & the welcome basket with prosecco, eggs and dog treats was a lovely touch. The garden is safely enclosed which was great for our dog – she loved sitting on the patio staring at the sheep in the fields. Lin & James (the owners) came & introduced themselves & made sure we knew how to contact them if needed. They’re very friendly & have lots of advice about places to walk & eat which is great if you don’t know the area – there is also a good supply of maps and tourist attraction leaflets in the barn. There are some good walks you can do from the doorstep and it’s only a short drive to some nice towns & pubs. We had a great time exploring during the days, then relaxing in the hot tub sipping wine in the evenings looking at the view. We only stayed for a week but felt so relaxed and recharged by the time we headed home, we’re already starting to plan our next visit!"

"We spent a lovely weekend at Beacon View Barns as a family get away. We hired the two cottages between us, each with their own hot tub and in a safe enclosed garden area. We took our dogs, who were safely enclosed in the garden and enjoyed the lovely surrounding walks. The barns themselves are stunning, all brand new and fully equipped. We arrived with the intention of staying put for the weekend. We kept our young children busy by baking in the well equipped kitchen and playing some the games provided. Upon arrival we were provided with prosecco, fresh eggs, milk, tea, coffee and fresh flowers. The hot tubs were all ready and waiting when we arrived, this was certainly a high light of our trip. We took all our food with us, but I am told that you can order tesco delivery to the barns too. It snowed quite heavily during our stay, the hosts were fab and told us to stay put in order to stay safe - as such we ended up staying a day longer than we had plans as the roads were completely impassable. We will definitely be returning, such a lovely relaxing get away!"

"Me and my partner stayed here for a few days this month and it was amazing. The views are incredible and the cottage was so beautiful and well equipped. There was lots of little touches like prosecco, milk and eggs on arrival. The cottage was absolutely spotless. There was a minor problem with the internet dropping out, but as soon as we informed Lin the owner she came straight down and fixed this for us straight away! Would highly recommend to anyone. The cottage was very private and was just the perfect place to relax. The only feedback would be that the cottage was quite hard to find as the postcode is set for about 2.5 miles at the end of the road, however there were people about to ask for directions. Definitely worth the trip !"

"The hot tub is a bonus even in November. The cottage is situated 2.8 miles along a single track lane with the nearest dwelling at least a mile away, if you want peace and quiet then this is the place to go. The scenery is beautiful with views of open farmland all around with sheep grazing in nearby fields. There are several walks in the area from easy to strenuous. The whole area for miles around is very scenic and I especially liked the road from Builth Wells to Newtown, via Llandridnod Wells, well worth the trip. The owners are friendly, informative, helpful and our welcome was great with eggs, milk tea and coffee, flowers, and treats for the dog. There was also a treat for us in a bottle of Prosecco."
