"S17974 is a clean, spacious house on a lovely little housing development 10-15 minutes' walk from the town centre, right next to a church.Enclosed garden is ideal if you have a dog. There are dog bowls and leads provided. Very good range of kitchen equipment, so great if you love cooking! Towels provided were very small, very thin, and scratchy. I would not provide these to guests staying in my home, let alone paying ones. (to be honest, I would not even dry my dog with them). There is no internet access, not even a DVD player, so S17974 would not be a good choice if you're staying more than a few days and the weather is not good, or if you have children. Toilet roll, kitchen roll, handwash, hairdryer provided which was very helpful. No Welcome Pack or general information provided, i.e. with regards to when the heating and hot water come on, no recycling instructions."

"S69866 is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen equipment. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. I stayed there with my husband and my young dog. There are 2 pubs nearby that allow dogs inside (The Oddfellows and the Trowl and Hammer). The coastline from Kessingland right through to the South Pier in Lowestoft provides amazing walks. Our young dog Madi, loved it and so did we even though the weather was pretty grim! I would definitely stay there again but I hope they can do something about the upstairs shower which only provides about 30 seconds of hot water at a time. Fine, perhaps, if you don't have much hair to shampoo and rinse but it needs changing to earn the top score of 10. The price therefore was a little steep (rather like the stairs), so you also need to be fit and healthy! Caroline"

"Very comfortable for a family holiday. Lovely, remote and quiet location, super views; extremely peaceful. Generally well equipped with what's necessary, albeit functional rather than cosy. Perhaps an extra set of tableware wouldn't go amiss. Very spacious overall and generous rooms. Very light. Dont know if possible with the water supply but an upgrade to the shower pressure would be welcome.Super friendly and flexible caretaker.Instructions how to find (we arrived in the dark) weren't entirely useful to find the last turn. Just need to update on the site, as it's properly signposted once you get far enough."

"Wonderful, friendly and welcoming cottage, extremely well appointed in terms of equipment (just about everything you can imagine in the kitchen) and also a lovely welcome food pack on arrival. It is small with tight corners and steep stairs, adding to the charm, but the bathroom is very new and modern and the kitchen is also up to date. Great location, only a couple of minutes from the beach down a little path, and with pub, restaurant, tea rooms and the amazing 'Beach Hut' local shop only minutes away. We loved it and can't recommend enough."

"This was a lovely cottage. Cleanliness was excellent. The owners had thought of everything , even dog biscuits! There was a nice welcome pack on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The location was ideal, easy access to a lovely little beach, which was dog friendly. There was a nice little dog friendly pub within walking distance. The cottage was not too far from Gorlestone & Hopton beaches. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Home from home , everything thought of."
