"Quirky , noisy , no happy help seemed nice people no one to greet us , no suitable if you put health and safety first and like noise pollution check out on google the road it’s on as you bed headboard is just 10 metres from this 24/7 , sadly it’s right up left out major issues , you must travel to purchase heavy logs , the owners are juggling other projects if you need a bed change ours took ten days , it never happened as my husband sadly slipped on 3 steps , injuring his back and other areas , we were pushed into a decision to go home , I love this area of the UK I don’t wish anything bad to owners they need to understand your human beings and a little help goes a long way when under floor heating isn’t working on arrival and a listed stairwell has no light bulb at top of stairs , one red Smeg fridge and this new quirky cottage idea is brilliant but only if your dedicated and it works , trust your guests they are working with you . No Christmas, No New Year No happy Memories expect Southwold days , this could all be turned round with care and thought , always tell the truth good or bad , you may find people are not just £ signs on legs they have hearts , wishing you hope many more horses and health for New Year SueX Kevin and doggy Rocky poorer monetary wise and health dreadful we don’t hold grudges left for you to enjoy a happy New year thinking of your wonderful children."

"S90519 is a lovely cottage with splendid bedroom and bathroom facilities. The owners were really welcoming and helpful before we went for the weekend and it was beautifully clean when we arrived with lots of extra touches to make our weekend stay special. The welcome basket of food in the kitchen was extremely generous and there were even toiletries in all the bathrooms which was a very extra special touch! The kitchen and lounge flow into one another so that it is really sociable for those cooking in the kitchen to still be able to chat easily to those in the lounge. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the lounge was really comfortable with lots of seating. The garden is absolutely huge so a great place for the dogs to exercise whilst we all sat at the large table on the decking area watching them. The cottage is actually in Otley which is a small village with an excellent shop and very dog friendly pub both within walking distance. In fact the only reason I haven't given the cottage an overwhelming 10 out of 10 is because the WiFi signal is rather intermittent depending on where you are in the house or which network you are using. We really liked the cottage and will be recommending it to all our friends and hopefully returning at some time in the future."

"S42466 is beautiful, just beautiful. As someone who manages 50,000 sq ft I know about property and facilities management and the house and gardens are immaculate. The rooms are spacious and well furnished - practical and tastefully furnished. It is extremely clean throughout, nothing was out of place. The facilities for hosting a large event are perfect - even down to four sauceboats! The kitchen has an aga which, for those not used to it, can be intimidating. However, with a little forethought into what you intend to cook and a review of the cook books provided (and/ or prior research) means it does not need to be overly concerning. The grounds are extensive and vary between woodland and grass. Plenty of room for a game of cricket or rounders! The administration from booking through to arrival and beyond is a well oiled machine, with every question you could consider answered easily. I have no hesitation in scoring S42466 10/10. There was truly not one thing which was lacking and everything was extremely well prepared. My only tip - Get your booking secured as soon as you can!"

"Cottage is well equipped, however it has a drab and dingy appearance. When we arrived there were flies everywhere including a dead hornet on the floor. Windows were dirty and there were slug trails in the utility room where the freezer, washing machine and dishwasher are located. The garden is spoiled by dog faeces and you can't open the windows because of the smell and the flies. We could not use the garden because the dogs demand constant attention. Dogs barking from 5.30am onwards so we could not sleep beyond that time on four days out of seven. The kettle has an electrical fault. The shower door does not close properly so it leaks into the bathroom. The shower tray to tile joint lacks any sealant."

"This was the best holiday we have ever had and we are just sad that it was only a weekend and that we had not booked for longer - next time maybe! S42466 is breathtakingly beautiful and we have never felt more relaxed than we did in the house and extensive grounds. We were celebrating our Ruby Wedding anniversary and had our children and grandchildren with us, so three generations who were all equally delighted to be there. The children had so much freedom to run around, play games and build dens in the woods. We enjoyed watching them and spotting the deer at the lake and walking through the woods. We felt the brochure pictures in no way did this home justice and would highly recommend a visit."
