"We had a lovely new year at S18279. 3 out of the 4 bedrooms are plenty large enough for travel cots and the beds were comfortable. The best area is the kitchen diner, very modern and plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 babies at the table. there's plenty of crockery, pots and pans and utensils. A very well stocked kitchen however only one oven shelf made it very difficult to cook for everyone so the owners could perhaps invest in another shelf to make this a lot easier for large groups to cook meals to enjoy at the cottage. It was great to have the utility area and downstairs toilet plus extra shower. The area was lovely. Very quiet, few nice pubs, cafes and shops. The living room was cosy and nice garden and balconies for use in better weather. The sofas are probably past their shelf life but other than that a nice space. There's a small unloading area outside the cottage but then you have to park your car in the town free car park. Not a major issue unless everyone arrives at once but something to mention as it's not on the spec. All in all we had a lovely time thank you."

"We loved very homely S41599, it was a delight to come back to at the end of a day exploring the area. The cottage is particularly well equipped, the beds were really comfortable and we all slept really well. Our dog loved the gardens which were a delight with an abundance of flowers. There were lots of birds around and it would have been nice to see a few bird feeders in the gardens. It is the first time we have stayed in a cottage in such a small hamlet and for us the only reason I have given it 4 and not 5 stars is because it was just a bit too quiet and we missed having a village pub. If you really want to get away from it all and have total peace and quiet, away from street lights etc., then this is the place to be and we could not fault the cottage for comfort. The food hamper we received is by far the best ever received, we loved everything in it."

"The cottage was very spacious, immaculate with lots of character. Wonderfully situated near the woodland where we walked our dog every day. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas at S41782 and appreciated the Christmas tree and generous hamper. Disappointed with the noise that came through from the adjoining cottage. We knew the cottages were attached but the door between is the two cottages is very thin. Given the adjacent cottage can take large groups this will always be the case. We would have liked to have some firm pillows for sleeping. Every pillow was very soft and not supportive. Thought I should mention these issues given the high standard that Snaptrip likes to maintain."

"Whereas there is all the equipment one needs in a holiday cottage (fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave etc) the comfort factor was its weakest point. The bed looked like IKEA best and was small, soft and spongy, causing backache in the morning. If you are over 6' or large, then this house will be too small for you. The bedroom is built into the sloping roof with beams which means having to walk a bit doubled up. The missing door on the shower means that inevitably water will splash out on to the bathroom floor.Otherwise it is in good condition, just too small."

"Fantastic! A lovely reunion of 10 friends was supported by this cosy home, that used to be a hotel. All of the rooms were clean and well decorated and the dining room was great to have a meal together and play party games. With our puppy able to join in the fun too (and towels left out for him to dry off when he came in) we were delighted with it.Tesco delivered all the food needed which is a great idea as not many large supermarkets nearby and saved us the effort of bringing it all with us!Thanks Kate and Peter and we look forward to seeing you again.. x"
