"The description to find the house is quite confusing but eventually we found it anyway. The owner was friendly and explained to us what we could and could not use. The owner appeared to live most of the year in the house but he rented during the holiday months the house and went to live somewhere else during that period. This gives you as a tenant have a strange feeling, like you are entering someone's privacy. During the tour we quickly got the feeling that was optimally utilized this house and that the necessary investments were omitted. The pool is in different places in a very clumsy way patched with silicone rubber cloth is placed in the pool to keep the water seems not only very cheap but also annoying because if you do not watch knock you constantly your toes against the corrugations of this fabric because it is poorly placed. Around the pool were constantly insert pieces around the overspattende water. The positive is then that we had breakfast by the pool every day, which is quite a wonderful feeling, and the garden is beautiful. Due to the location you have all the privacy you can wensen.Het house itself is in order when we a"

"It felt like coming home warm welcome in a fully equipped house, with all the essentials, fragrant flowers and bottle of wine on the table and cider in the fridge. Because we already got first information about environment, location relative Nearby amenities and exit points, we were, despite the trip immediately in a lovely vakantiegevoel. In the cottage was further extended brochures available on D-day beaches / museums / enjoyable and nature so you could go the next day. immediately using this info on path We enjoyed a wonderful setting from the cottage could you inwandelen the nature area, 5 km. From a beach walk along the oyster beds, driving around enjoying the beautiful Normandy countryside really. Furthermore, the very impressive 2nd War history to soak through visits to landing beaches, museums, etc. Bayeux was also a must, where you Le tapestry certainly could not overslaan.Dankzij WIFi in the cottage we could adjust our schedule to the weather and make the most of your the moments when the sun shone (laze in the chill-out lounges chairs in the garden, making a nice walk, visiting Mont Saint Michel) and choose fo"

"This environment and this house has everything that makes a holiday a feast. The house is spacious and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, blender, dishwasher, Senseo, etc. The bathroom is fantastic. Both a bathtub and a shower with massage function if desired. A toilet in the bathroom as well as separately. Upon arrival, a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine on the table and in the refrigerator a bottle of cider and water. The house is very rural and the view is like a painting. We have lovely walks and many cultural excursions. Of course, the landing beaches and museums visited. But in addition, there is still so much more. We Cherbourg watched a submarine and a beautiful aquarium. We've been to Falaise to the castle of William the Conqueror to visit and then drove back via la Suisse Normande. A beautiful route. We also visited the west coast near Cherbourg. Very impressive. In short, we have to come back because a week is too little to see everything. 5 km away its delicious bakeries and two supermarkets. At the fish market in Grandcamp every day for sale. Fresh fish"

"Wonderful holiday had in the house in Cardonville. We were four adults and one child. Doing fine there. Dining table is large enough, seating is a little too small, but what agony that if you can sit outside. Kitchen is fully equipped and was large enough for our group. They have lots of information in the cottage available about what to see in Normandy (also in Dutch) .Further there it was very quiet and a perfect place to relax after a long day of nature or visit cultuurbezoek.Het is ideally gelegen.Het centrally located in a national park for nature lovers. For this, the location is a perfect base for beautiful nature walks. For visiting all the D-Day sites is also good central and close to the coast (Point du Hoc is around the corner). We will also see castles and despite that most beautiful castles in the region is Caen area better here (I think) .Also Mont Saint Michel is from here easily accessible for a day visit. Advice, go very early in the morning because during the day you will be overrun that eilandje.Al in all a wonderful holiday in a wonderful location with a very sweet go"

"Gite Le Jonquet is a perfect base for the landing beaches. You also have a lot of interesting museums and attractions. The old town of Bayeux is a 20 minute drive. The cottage is in complete agreement with the photo 's. You have a beautiful idyllic overlooking fields, hills and an ancient church. There was a TV available (with satellite TV) and DVD player. Luckily we had exceptionally beautiful September weather and on the terrace to eat. The beds were good, just a shame that the 2 separate mattresses next to each other. The house was very clean, and the owners had fresh flowers, wine and a card left. The base was equipped in the cottage so after a long drive to the supermarket should not immediately go for toilet paper, dishwashing, herbs, kitchen ... etc. One drawback was that the wifi was not working during our stay. But the owners went to find out why he did not reach, so this will be resolved quickly. A must for anyone seeking peace and cultural trips to combine. We had a very successful holiday behind us and thoroughly enjoyed the rest."
