What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In Lowestoft To Rent.

"We stayed in this cottage for a week in May 2016. Overall it is comfortable and easy to spend time in, but there are a few things that could be improved. The location is good, just a short walk from a pebbly beach and a short drive from the sandy beach in Lowestoft. We were unlucky with the weather but so managed to find enough to occupy us and our two young sons without having to go more than about 45 mins drive away. Positives Clean and nicely decorated Well equipped kitchen - useful pans and utensils, plus teatowels, hand soap and washing up stuff. Comfortable beds Nice games room Nice secure garden that the boys could run around in Welcome basket with wine, crisps and sweets Nice view of the church with the sea beyond Plenty of information regarding the cottage and the activities in the area Scope for improvement The sofa in the living room needs replacing, it sags, creaks and has loose springs The toilet makes a loud noise when the cistern refills, meaning it can't really be flushed at night There were no balls or shuttlecocks go with the rackets in the games den"

"My husband and myself and our small dog booked to stay for three weeks whilst we were having building works done on our own home. We were really delighted at the site, good off road parking for four or more cars and a stunning garden and grounds. The cottage itself was like I was staying in a museum, many ornaments, plates, antiques, and nik naks, loads to look at but perfect. The facilities were great, like the pots, pans and utensils, everything you could possibly need even down to pegs to hang out the washing. The only downside is the mobile phone signal / internet, you cannot watch any online entertainment via a tablet/pad/phone, so if you have family/children who use social media please be aware. It has its very own secluded and enclosed garden, brilliant for the dog/children and if you fancied a spot of croquet or putting on the green, so good, with all the equipment provided.Overall, I would rate Tillets Cottage 4 stars (would certainly be 5 if it had a fast internet service). It was peaceful, well equipped and suited our needs.Thank you for your hospitality. Debbie"

"The location of the property was literally just around the corner from the beach. This meant that it was so easy for us to get our children around to the sea incredibly easily. We wanted to be close to a beach and this was ideal. The house itself was great for us and for the children. There was a highchair and a cot for the little one and a cosy bed with lots of pillows for the older one. The garden meant that even back at the house we could run around and play on the grass. The conservatory was ideal for drawing and playing games and was such a lovely suntrap in the evenings. From Pakefield we were able to walk along the prom to get to Lowestoft, but then retreat to the calm and quiet when we had had enough. I can only say positive things about the house and for the way that everything was presented. Thank you for helping allow us to have a very enjoyable and memorable holiday."

"This cottage had everything we needed for a really relaxing break. We took our dog with us and it was ideal for him too! Our welcome basket even contained some treats for him, which I thought was very thoughtful. The cottage has a really nice feel to it and is well equipped with lovely decor. Even if you aren't lucky enough to have the amazing sunny weather we had, there is a games room with darts and pool table to keep you occupied. There are also DVDs and games and puzzles if that's not enough. We really enjoyed the bright airy conservatory too, The garden was a decent size and fenced well and safe for dogs. There are several dog friendly pubs in the village. We especially liked "The Oddfellows". Best of all a short stroll down the causeway, passed the pretty thatched church takes you to the dog friendly beach. I can definitely recommend a visit to this cottage"

"Too much clutter in general in the communal rooms. Given that this is a dog friendly cottage there was a lot of bits and bobs that could get knocked over or broken. No information pack at the cottage. No idea how we were supposed to leave it. Should we clean the bedding, hoover the floors etc.Did not know what can be recycled or when the rubbish collection was.Not enough crockery and glasses. We bought six wine glasses and a chopping board which we left there. No tin opener! No idea how to operate the central heating - couldn’t work out how to access the timer. No maps for local walks which given the garden backs on to a Nature Reserve I think this would be useful.Having said that the cottages was clean, warm and tidy and decorated very sweetly for Christmas."
