What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In Cambridgeshire To Rent.

"The cottage itself is quite nice but in need of a bit of TLC. The downstairs bathroom door was slightly warped and in need of planing, there was a water stain on the carpet in the downstairs bedroom and the shared outdoor gas bbq was filthy when we arrived. It was a hot weekend when we were there but there were no fans in the property and when you opened the door/windows the property was inundated with flies - a simple fly screen at the door would have helped. The upstairs bathroom smelt damp throughout our stay, despite opening windows to let some air in.Also, shared outdoor space is fine if your neighbours are friendly - ours were not. Their children prevented ours from playing on toys provided by the property, they hogged the pool and caused a confrontation over the booking system which they claimed not to understand. Perhaps if this had been managed by the owner rather than visitors it could have been prevented. It's a nice property, with plenty of space for youngsters to let off steam but it could be an outstanding property in time. The owner is lovely however, and incredibly helpful with her local knowledge."

"It Did NOT. The sight manager sent you an e mail to this effect. You did not reply. I am 83 years old and because of this you spoiled my holiday. I am not because of my age as mobile as I once was and I rely on Wi Fi and my I Pad totally. We only made the booking as Wi Fi was advertised in the amenities. You were unable to provide it and it spoiled my week. Regards Maurice TempestWardens on the campsite were very friendly and helpful.the onsite staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to all the attractions that we wanted to visit all in all a great cottageVery pretty, confortable and well equiped accomodation, large enough for a familly with 4 children. Nice location in the countryside, superb for jogging around the lake. A lot of touristic attractions in the aera. Very nice and very eficient staff"

"Lovely relaxing cottage. We only needed two bedrooms but super to have a feeling of space. Great big table in the kitchen for family meals and garden enclosed for our dog which is not always the case in cottages that allow dogs. 10 minutes from the house and you can be on a train to Cambridge which is beautiful. There were dog walks near the house but the weather was not great for our week so wellies needed. Children enjoyed the park zip slide too. We did find the lack of a drier an issue, especially with children; we did put clothes over the radiators- handy to have so many. Also with a long estate car, it was difficult to get out and in the gate as cars were always parked along the road directly opposite the gate. It took some negotiating!"

"Although the cottage is very clean and spacious, it is in definite need of upgrade. The shower (wet) room is very old and unappealing and the en suite bathroom upstairs lacks a shower cubicle or even a shower spray over the bath. With six women staying and no working locks on either of the bathroom doors, there were privacy issues. There were some things missing or broken, like the grill in the oven and there was no ceiling light shade in the shower room, which we felt was potentially dangerous in a wet environment. We did leave a note about these issues for the owners. It is a working farm in a rural area, so very quiet and peaceful, but make sure you take a fly spray as not surprisingly with livestock, there were loads."

"We really enjoyed staying at the cottage, it was nice and quirky, and had everything we needed. It was the first time we had taken our dog on holiday with us and the cottage proved to be ideal for all of us. The enclosed garden meant we didn't have to keep shutting doors to stop the dog escaping. Good central location for planning trips out and lots of local information and recommendations provided by the owners.Having the owners close was a real bonus for when we had questions. The only bad thing to say about our stay was; as real ale drinkers there were no pint glasses! 'But we coped' ;)"
