"Tardis-like which is cottage bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside! The cottage has a old-world charm with a good sized kitchen/diner with everything you need and large lounge. Bedrooms also generously proportioned with (unusually in my experience) plenty of wardrobe space. The master bedroom has it's own TV, en-suit and box-room wardrobe/dressing room. The on-site managers were very pleasant and helpful.Tip: remember to keep a small amount of cash as you will be billed for gas/electricity at the end of your stay. Ours came to about £24 so in the winter it is likely to be more. The property is just outside of Uffculme village and so a bit out of the way although a short drive takes you onto the M25. A Tesco's and Aldi are an easy 10 minute drive away in Cullompton. All in all we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a great week in this beautiful barn conversion. As a large group of friends, the fact that all but one room is en suite was really useful. The barn is of a really high standard in both finish and cleanliness. The garden was also perfect for the 2 dogs, even though they were terrified of the geese who came to say hello through the fence! The owners were only next door and really helpful but if we hadn't approached them, we would never have known anyone was there. We would recommed this cottage to anyone looking for a high quality place to accomodate a large group. The walk to the pub only takes 15 mins and the food was beautiful but the hill to get there is not for the faint hearted! Well worth it though."

"My Family and I thought the whole aspect of position and somewhere "out of the way" was fantastic! This especially at that time, it could have only been better if my Darling Wife was still with us all, again as planned to celebrate what should have been a "late Diamond Wedding Anniversary". The fact that she had her Heart Attack only 9 days before the 5th July, our day! However back to the question asked, yes we would all stay again but likely not to due to the memories it would raise! The planned celebration Lunch at "The Fishamans Cot" on the Sunday was also a great venue. I hope that you continue to gain more custom as the years go bye. A very Nice Area"

"Cottage described as luxurious on website. It may have seemed that way 30 years ago but unfortunately hasn't been updated since. No sort of welcome pack. Carpet dirty and had burn marks in it. Furniture very old, uncomfortable and dirty looking. No dishwasher but lots of empty cupboards. No towels unless you hired them. Bath mats etc very old and worn. Final insult as we were packing to leave we were set upon to have meter read and make sure we paid!!! £11 was it worth the bad feeling it causes?? Have to say we found Steve very helpful though. He sorted two problems out for us straight away."

"We had a fab time the barn is beautifully located, we watched the sun rise every morning we were so lucky weather wise considering we went in October. The boys really enjoyed the fishing and caught a fair few fish. We would defiantly return such a fabulous sociable kitchen, plenty of room for all. My only problem was that we were a party of 13 and the pots and pans were not big eneough for that many people, other than that the kitchen was well stocked. We also left with some beautiful venison. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the owners for a fantastic stay. Many thanks"
