"Beautifully presented cottage in stunning location with loads to do. However cottage is part of a u shaped building, joined onto another cottage with a communal courtyard. The neighbours - might be the owners of burnside I have no idea as they were so unfriendly - have two large black Labradors, one of which has clearly never been socialised. Twenty minutes after arriving I wanted to let my kids out to play. The two dogs were outside, and whilst restrained, the non socialised one was going nuts and had it not been restrained I'm pretty certain it would have attacked my wife and kids - attitude of neighbours was "sorry he doesn't know you but we aren't moving" and we were left with no option but to go back in. My wife has had bad experiences with dogs before and this put her on edge the entire time we were away and made her cagey whenever we encountered dogs anywhere. The not knowing us comment undermined by the same dog going nuts at the people who lived in the nearby properties and the neighbours only ever taking the calm dog out with them. This cottage is lovely and in a beautiful part of the world but there is a safety warning about the stream but nothing about the Cerberus like dog who lives next door."

"What an absolute gem and Alex and Simon are wonderful, incredibly friendly and helpful proprietors. What a welcome. We had ordered a Tesco delivery to be delivered on our arrival. Unfortunately we arrived after our delivery, but Alex and Simon were so sweet about off-loading our weeks provisions for us in our accommodation. The cottage is absolutely perfect and immaculately presented. It's in an idyllic setting and incredibly quiet. Everything was squeaky clean and fresh. We enjoyed being able to use the woodburner and there was a huge availability of new wood from a storage area just outside the cottage. It's an ideal cottage to stay in for those wanting to explore the region and come back to a home from home.I would thoroughly recommend S90713, you just can't go wrong.Huge thank you to Alex and Simon for making our trip to Scotland such a wonderfully special one.All the bestTim"

"We enjoyed a wonderful time in the most beautiful but spacious cottage at Wester Coshieville. Set up a lovely little farm track, which immediately helps you escape the rest of the world as you park up with stunning 360 degree views of the Scottish highlands.Made to feel so incredibly welcome on arrival, aided by the (still warm!) delicious home made lemon drizzle cake and fantastic food hamper, and then throughout our stay - even afterwards by returning the necklace our daughter left behind! The cottage has been recently converted to a high quality finish with gorgeous attention to detail - the cottage made our visit, we could easily have spent our entire stay indoors but with such amazing walks on the doorstep that wasn't an option. Already looking forward to our return visit! Thank you so much - George, Jill, Jessica & Bailey 🐾"

"Beautiful cottage set in a scenic location just a stones throw from Aberfeldy. The open fire makes for a cosy night in and separate bath/rain shower made for a lovely addition. Fantastic views from windows and wildlife surrounded-As we bumped into a few random stags just outside the house. The bird tray in kitchen window is also lovely to watch. Only thing letting this place down is the camping style cutlery, the fridge light wasnt working and better quality bedding in the rooms would certainly bring this to from an 8 to 10/10 stay. I’d recommend a small welcome pack for visitors as this would only add to the experience. So if you are visiting be sure to take your own soap, washing up liquid etc as this was missed."

"The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had a problem with the back door lock early in the week but the owner very quickly came with a locksmith amd sorted it out. The thing that we felt let the place down was the neglected garden. The grass was very long and weedy at the front, the path up to the door weedy and a lot of leaves and dirt under the outside doormat. The roses are left unpruned and growing across the windows. In the back garden there is an Acer almost completely obscuring the back bedroom window which makes it very gloomy inside. Again weeds everywhere. It could be such a pretty garden with some t.l.c."
