Not only is this a stunning place to stay, but Angus offers some delicious local produce too. While here be sure to try Aberdeen Angus beef or Arbroath Smokies. There is a rich history in this region too which can be explored through the museums, abbeys and castles. If you’d rather be enjoying an active break there is plenty to enjoy; from hill walking to watersports. Wherever your interests lie, Angus is a great spot for a cottage holiday.

"The road up to the newer lodges is full of potholes that can't really be avoided. I suspect this is a work in progress. The Byron lodge itself is beautifully designed and decorated with fixtures and fittings of a high standard. One flaw we felt however is unlike the Muirloch lodges which have 2 doors into the bedroom (one dedicated door and the other via the bathroom) the Byron lodge has one door which goes into the bathroom from the living area meaning if your partner is in the bathroom you are trapped at either end. As these are essentially "couples" lodges this isn't a major issue however if you come away for a romantic weekend you don't particularly want to have to walk by your partner on the toilet.....it kind of ruins the magic."

"The cabin was great, the only downfall was there wasn't any instructions for the Sauna and when we figured out how to work it it just didn't heat up at all and didn't work so we didn't get to use this which was quite disappointing. Other than that the cabin was a lot more spacious than it looks in the pictures, I personally don't think the pictures do it justice. The hot tub was great. Maybe if you get more than one toilet roll and some washing up liquid it would also be a bit better! Other than that it is great value for money. I would advise them to get rid of carpets as well as when you are coming in and out from the hot tub the carpets end up soaking."

"An excellent apartment situated on the edge of Keswick town centre. Well equipped with quality furniture, equipment and comfortable bed linen. Despite being close to the Booths supermarket it is very quiet. Private parking right outside the entrance is a good plus for Keswick. We have stayed in many apartments in this area and I would rank this to be the best one in terms of its interior. Easy walk into town and lots of good cafes. There are plenty of good walks from the door catering for all abilities."

"I really loved it. It was actually a sort of delayed Christmas present for me and all the family. Best thing about it was by far the excellent staff followed by the excellent accommodation. Weather was a bit rotten but well we are in Scotland so it should be expected. I am going to save up my money and take the family back at the summer time. I'm sure it will be totally amazing. I think you are doing an absolutely amazing job."

"Lovely flat. Superb situation. Short walk to Keswick shops and lake side. Well equipped. We had ground floor flat which was great for elderly or folk with poorer mobility.Parking reserved for 1 car directly outside flat.Good beds, shower and kitchen etc.Only minor negative... drying towels etc difficult (would be easy in winter with radiators on). We had hot sunshine every day!Great for Keswick stay."
