"I would recommend anyone to have a holiday at Robin House, Lucker! We had had some difficulties with the snow and did manage to get stuck but once the AA had freed us we were so happy to be welcomed by this adorable little house! It was warm and so comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Robin House is as clean as a new pin, and very well kept. We slept very soundly in the very comfortable spacious beds and woke up to lovely views from the windows. The owners are amazingly helpful should you need any guidance for anything and very kind, We were also greeted with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates!! We were there in February and didn't have many warm days but I can see that it will be a hot spot in the summer when you'll be able to sit outside in the garden! It is quite central to lots of places if you have a car and there are plenty of lovely walks should you be on foot. A big help for me personally was that I could take my dog too. This little village has an amazing pub The Apple that welcomes you and your dog! They have lovely meals and are very friendly. There is also a Spa, a Pizzeria and a Village Shop. We visited many places around and about ie. Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Alnwick, Alnmouth, Amble, Craster and in all of these places found pubs and coffee shops were dog friendly. Robin House is a great place, in a lovely village and in a good spot for visiting elsewhere. What more could you want?!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Robin House, the cottage was clean, warm and cosy even in chilly February. The  enormous windows were perfect for enjoying the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Our host was helpful and quick to reply to our queries. Lucker is a lovely place. The heated pool and spa at Beau Monde are top notch, we booked a few days ahead and for £10 this was a luxurious bargain! The Apple Inn is a very attractive pub with friendly staff two log burners and tasty battered fish and chips. Co-op in Seahouses is 10 mins by car with seaside views on the way. As National Trust members we had Cragside and Dunstanburgh Castle near by - great for holiday photos! We took a road trip up the coast taking in Bamburgh, Budle Bay and Beal. Beal had a great café called Beal Barn with panoramic views across to Lindisfarne. We found Cocklawburn Beach, with beautiful sand and finished our tour in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Robin House is our first experience of Northumberland, which we found to be a fantastic base to tour the area, with still so much to see. Thank you for a relaxing holiday."

"The Cottage was very warm and comfortable a lovely garden and views over fields. Lots of bird life. Its position to visit the beautiful Northumberland coast for bird life and seals and beyond is fantastic. Plenty of walking and cycling. The large windows allowed us to watch mermeration of starlings most evenings if we were back at sunset. The pub in the village was clean and friendly offered a good local ale and excellent food would recommend the seafood platter. There is a lovely spa in the village but you would need to do some research before you go. It is associated with a holiday complex in the village so there are conditions to its use but needs pre booking. There is an alternative in Sea Houses with different facilities which we found very welcoming and comfortable. We visited in February so was quiet enough for us to take out time with everything we did. Would most certainly return as we all came home refreshed and content."

"This perfectly located, pet-friendly, clean, well-equipped accommodation was exactly what we needed. Located just a few miles from Banburgh and a wonderful sandy, pet-friendly beach. The view from the rear window was amazing when we stayed, the fields were in full bloom and the rapeseed plants were a stunning sea of yellow flowers. There are many walks straight from the door, I took our dog a different way every time I walked him, He loved it and wanted to come home as much as we didn't :-) He would be digging up the beach now if we would have let him. The cottage has everything you need for a pleasant stay, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dryer, microwave, oven, TV, hair dryer, you name it and it seemed to have the lot, including a selection of books and games. Lucker is a pleasant friendly village with a pub, village shop and reasonably priced pizza restaurant, all you need for your stay. We fully intend to go back"
