Snaptrip says

The Lookout is a well-presented cottage in Barmouth, praised for its stunning views, luxurious bathroom, and comfortable furnishings. Guests enjoyed the local beaches and Snowdonia, despite some concerns over steep stairs and parking.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a couple of mentions of minor cleaning oversights. The property is generally well-maintained, contributing to a high cleanliness score.

The location is highly regarded for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions. The distance to the beach and parking considerations slightly affect the score, but the overall sentiment is very positive.

The cottage is considered comfortable, with a cosy living room and luxurious bathroom. However, the steep stairs to the upper floors present a challenge for some, impacting the comfort score for those with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the kitchen and bathroom. However, there are comments about limited kitchen equipment, issues with the TV and microwave, and a lack of basic supplies, which suggests room for improvement.

While some guests mentioned a lack of a welcome pack, which was expected, there are not enough reviews discussing thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

I liked the location and being able to walk to the beach nearby (at low tide) and also up onto the hill behind the house. 5 minutes cycle ride into Barmouth. The top floor bedroom has a great view from the sofa - good space to retreat to. The stairs to the top floor are very steep and more akin to a ladder - not recommended for children or the less agile. I had one classic sunset during my stay. The patio at the front was pleasant in the evening despite the main road running past the front of the house. As stated in the details there is no washing machine.

Downside no firelighters left or kindling for log burner / lack of cooking utensils / not enough information about the recycling or how to use the cooker/ oven/ handrail needed outside on front steps as very steep and slippery when wet.

It has a great location for views of the sea and is beautifully decorated with some unique features. The property would definitely not be suitable for the elderly or infirm and I would not recommend it for young children due to the narrow and winding stairs. The TV signal was not very good but we had access to Netflix so watched that instead. We found various small items in the rug which turned out to be tiny child’s toys so I doubt it had been cleaned which is a shame. There was also some mens clothing in the bedroom drawers so I’d recommend a double check when cleaning in between visits. Other than that, would heartily recommend.
