Guests say

Driftwood Cottage in Little Haven is highly praised for its excellent location, homely feel, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the tranquil garden, abundant wildlife, and the property's proximity to the beach and local amenities. The welcoming touches, such as the provision of tea, coffee, milk, and Welshcakes, are fondly noted, although the comfort of the beds received mixed reviews.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with its close proximity to the beach, local pubs, and the peaceful environment, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and exploration.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable and homely, with a well-stocked kitchen and secure garden. However, one guest mentioned an uncomfortable double mattress, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

The facilities are well-received, with a special mention of the well-equipped kitchen and the garden's bird feeders. There is a minor note on the TV reception being flaky, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs.

The thoughtful gestures of providing refreshments upon arrival are appreciated by guests, although it is important to note that such personal touches, while delightful, may vary with each stay.

Cottage is exactly as it shows on the website and was the perfect spot for our stay. Location is excellent - just a couple of mins walk from the sea front even on the littlest of two year old legs. Lovely peaceful suntrap garden too. Great spot and we’ll come again.

We had a lovely fortnight in Driftwood Cottage. We chose it mainly for the enclosed garden for our dog, which was perfect and very tranquil. We enjoyed watching all the birds and the squirrel come to the feeder. The cottage is built on a hillside and has an interesting layout, with just a few steps between the 'top floor' (at road level) where there are 2 bedrooms, and the kitchen, lounge and third bedroom which are at garden level. Access is available from the front door at road level or via a steep path to the side door which takes you in by the kitchen. It might be tricky for anyone with a disability though. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the shower was ok - the bath was great! Chairs and sofa were also comfortable and the TV was a decent size but TV reception was a bit flakey. Some of the roads leading to Little Haven are narrow (single track with passing places on some routes) so not for the nervous! We did lots of coastal path walking straight from the door though, so you don't need to drive much once you get here if you don't want to!

Driftwood cottage was in a perfect location for us; a very short distance to the beach but slightly away & therefore very peaceful. The property was really welcoming, a bit quirky, surprisingly spacious, clean, well stocked & the garden was secure & private for us & our dog. The 3 bedrooms suited our party perfectly (myself & husband in the double, our early 20’s daughter in the single & our 19 year old daughter & her close friend the same age in the twin room). This is our favourite of all the holiday cottages we have stayed in, in Little haven over the past 20 years. The owner was really helpful ( we had his contact number) & when we come back to Little Haven again (which we will be doing) we intend to stay in Driftwood Cottage again. All of us had a fabulous week with stunning weather, made even better thanks to the cottage itself. Please pass on our comments to the owner!
