Well kitted out kitchen, super comfy beds and pillows. Just a couple of little gripes - mis-communication re towels - one email said they were provided and I missed the bit on second email where it said they were not and I didn't bring. We love watersports / beach etc and struggled with drying wetsuits / towels etc - a proper 'whirly gig' style washing line would be fab and also a doormat inside the back door There were no waste paper baskets throughout and also lack of hygienic bin and bath / shower mat in the bathroom was a bit of a pain but nothing serious ! The garden could use some attention - I did a bit of weeding

The kitchen was well equipped with extras most people don't consider which was really useful. the bean bags and beach equipment were a nice touch for the kids saved us having to buy them. The only thing we struggled with was finding the off street parking but we has no issued parking directly outside the property.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a nice break. The area was quiet and the walk to town ideal. We would have preferred off-street parking and initially thought this was what was available. I think this needs to be made clear in the details and not after booking. The house was cold when we arrived and it took us a while to work out the heaters - there was no instruction manual available and that would have been helpful. We never really worked out how to put the heating onto any sort of timer so we’re constantly turning it on and off. The house wasn’t very cosy despite having a log burner. We feel it would benefit from a rug in front of the fire and more ambient lighting in the lounge. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t any welcome pack - even just the basics would have been nice so that we could have made a hot drink before shopping.
