Guests say

Beachway Cottage in Prestatyn offers a welcoming and clean environment, with easy beach access and ample amenities nearby. Guests appreciate the property's secure outdoor space, functional kitchen, and the added bonus of a games room. While some noted minor issues with comfort and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many guests returning for multiple stays and creating cherished memories.

The property consistently receives praise for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean and welcoming upon arrival. However, a few minor comments about maintenance issues slightly affect the overall impression.

The location is highly regarded due to its proximity to the beach and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers and families. The secure and easy beach access is a recurring positive highlight.

While the property offers ample room and is generally seen as a comfortable family house, there are several remarks about basic bedding, uncomfortable mattresses, and squeaky floorboards, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

Facilities like the kitchen and utility room are well-received, but issues with the games room controllers and outdoor awning, as well as missing items like hairdryers and kitchen utensils, indicate that some facilities could be better maintained or provided.

Guests have mentioned thoughtful touches such as a welcome hamper with treats, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The instructions on arrival were easy to follow and booking process was super easy too. I had a couple of questions before we travelled and the owners replied very quickly. The home was immaculate and very welcoming and homely. It provided a great base for us to have a family break. The beach shack, hot tub and beach access are an amazing addition to the holiday and we really benefitted from this, as we had four children ranging from age 4 to 19. The beach is so close and no roads to cross, from the back gate. Beds were extremely comfortable and linen was spotless and plenty of storage space. Kitchen had all the mod cons and the utility room was great! I requested a stair gate before we travelled this was provided at no additional charge. There was nothing we didn’t need, as everything was provided at the house. the welcome pack was a nice touch on arrival ( milk bread butter and cakes for the children ) that was a nice thought and we also appreciated the email to allow us to check in at 3, instead of 5. All in all a fabulous Wales stay and we had the sunshine

The beach is lovely, and Nova (soft play for kids) & Costa are a short walk away and are a huge bonus! The property itself was clean, cosy and felt like home away from home. We made so many great memories here and we will definitely be visiting again!

The hot tub was ok for the first 2 days but it became very cloudy and had a really bad smell. We did complain but we were more or less told that we were dirty and that was that. My husband left brand new trainers in the room and we messaged but got no reply. Although the house was nice that was about it
