Deganwy is a small town in Conwy, Wales. Historically part of Caernarfonshire, the peninsula is in a region of North Wales where as many as 1 in 3 of residents are able to speak Welsh, and is home to some of the most expensive streets in Wales. Deganwy's most notable feature is Deganwy Castle, which in the 6th century was fortified as the stronghold of Maelgwn Gwynedd. The castle was later demolished by Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in 1263 so that only ruins remain today.

Very generous touch from the owner of a bottle of wine, chocolates and a pint of milk. When we got inside, we were suprised that there was no view (just a view of the wall and other apartment windows). The impression that we got from the photos was that the apartment had sea views and was at the front of the building, but it doesn't and isn't. The bathroom is rather small (tricky to do your teeth over the sink!) but the sitting room is spacious and comfortable. Lots of useful information left by the owner.

Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Just the bathroom could do with a shelf for toothbrushes, shaver etc. But a very good hot & powerful shower. Handy for eating places and nice walks to Conwy and Llandudno. Nice views from outside of the apartment. Heather messaged to check all was ok. We will return if back in the area. Thankyou
