Deceptively large, spacious 5-bedroom family home in the popular residential area of Mumbles, lying between the beaches of Langland and Limeslade.

A beautiful detached holiday home in Thistleboon, Mumbles, within walking distance of the beaches at Limeslade and Langland. Ty Hyfryd is a great option for families or friends with plenty of room for 11 guests. Accommodation is stylish and well laid out with plenty of living space, garden and parking. 

 

Located between the pretty coastal village of Langland and Mumbles with coastal footpaths leading to Rotherslade and Langland Bay with its pretty beach huts, a popular spot for kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing. Kids will love the nearby beaches of Bracelet Bay and Limeslade Bay, perfect for rockpooling! Enjoy lunch with a view at the Castellamare Italian Restaurant or an ice-cream at the popular Fortes ice cream parlour overlooking the water.

Beds:  2 x king size beds, 1 x double bed, 1 x single, 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds

Living room: large corner sofa, wall-mounted 46" flatscreen TV with Apple TV and Netflix. Sliding double doors to garden.

Additional living room: Two 3-seater sofas, a nest of tables and Welsh dresser, a TV on a stand, and a fireplace with a coal-effect fire.

Kitchen: electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and two fridges, (additional fridge and freezer in the garage).

Dining area: table and 11 chairs.

Bedroom 1: king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, storage space.

Bathroom: bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.

First Floor - galleried landing

Bedroom 2: king size bed, chest of drawers, wardrobes.

Ensuite: shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC.

Bedroom 3: double bed and wardrobe.

Bedroom 4: single bed, wardrobe (sloping ceilings).

Bedroom 5: 2 x sets of wooden bunk beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and table football. 

Shower room: wash hand basin, WC and shower cubicle.

 

Entertainment: football table. 46" flatscreen TV with Apple TV and Netflix, books and games.

Outside: enclosed rear garden with lawn and decked patio area with furniture. Garage has an additional storage for beach paraphernalia and a shower room with hanging space for wetsuits.

For families: travel cot and high chair. 

Parking: off road parking for several cars on the driveway and EV chargepoint

General: changeover day -.Friday. Gas CH. Bed linen and towels provided. WiFi. 4 star rating.

Pets: dogs welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.

Notes: no smoking. Bunk beds are best suited for children or small adults.

    The location is excellent for the immediate area and there is so much to see within a few miles. The centre of Mumbles is within easy walking distance, thus avoiding the need to find a parking space. The house itself is excellently equipped and is ideal for the whole family, easily sleeping 7 adults and 4 children. We are very pleased.

    The house was clean and very well equipped, however it is situated up a long hill and this should be stated in the information. I managed it, but found it hard work. Older people or wheelchair users need to know these things!
