it was great having a garden with views over the fields and the rooms are spacious and the beds were really comfortable. HOWEVER - Wi-fi did not work at all, in spite of it being listed and this caused issues as I had planned to host a Zoom meeting. The oven was grimy, the walk-in shower could do with an anti-slip mat and there was no bleach etc. available.

This was our second stay at the tannery. Has a decent sized enclosed garden which is great for younger kids . The tannery works well as a holiday home being just a few yards from all local amenities but is very private being accessed via a vennel . Parking can be an issue but itâs not insurmountable. Beaumaris provides an excellent base to explore the area only being a couple of miles from menai bridge.

It had everything we needed and was very clean. The only thing is the sofa sags a lot - my husband found this quite uncomfortable but it didnât affect our stay. There is loads to do in the area and loved the recommendation of the local bakery- we ended up there every morning after crabbing on the pier!
