Bron Heulog Cottage in Beaumaris, Anglesey, is praised for its stunning views, peaceful location, and charming character. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the garden, and the additional sunroom. The property's traditional features and proximity to local attractions are also highlighted. While some guests mention minor issues, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The cottage generally appears to be well-presented and clean, with some guests noting it was tidy upon arrival. However, there are a few mentions of a lingering wet dog smell and some cleanliness oversights, such as unclean hand towels and hairs on bed linen, which slightly lower the score.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to nature reserves and local attractions. The cottage's position offers easy access to coastal paths and is a good base for exploring Anglesey. The steep access hill is noted, but it does not detract significantly from the overall appreciation of the location.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere and efficient showers. However, the low ceilings in bedrooms, mattresses on the floor, and steep stairs present challenges for some, affecting the comfort level for guests with mobility issues or taller stature.
The cottage is appreciated for its well-equipped nature and additional features like the sunroom. Nonetheless, guests have suggested improvements in kitchen facilities, the presence of woodlice, and the need for Wi-Fi. The lack of a washing machine and some maintenance issues, such as window operation, are also noted.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Plenty of great hill and costal walks around the property. Perfect place if you want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet, whilst only being a 10 minute drive to Beaumaris

It is in a lovely peaceful area with beautiful views. The cottage is small but has everything you need. The stairs are quite narrow and steep and the mattresses are on low bases which some people may find difficulty in getting down to , we are 70 and we were fine . The summer house is an added bonus , lovely to sit and read in . The drive is narrow so you need to take care manoevering in and out . The cottage is very close to Beaumaris and several beautiful beaches , lots of lovely places to eat too.

There were good facilities and it was a well thought out holiday home the garden was very well maintained however we were not informed when the gardener would come. He came earlier than mentioned on the information due to the good weather. The house and sunroom were surface clean a few let downs such as unclean hand towels with toothpaste marks etc. and on both beds the linen had many black hairs on the sheets as if a dog had been in it. Once reported to Gill it took a few nights for the cleaner to change to clean ones.
