Guests say

Guests have enjoyed their stays at this well-equipped and comfortable cottage, praising its cleanliness, spacious garden, and the luxury of a hot tub. The location is appreciated for its proximity to clifftop walks and local amenities. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The property is generally described as clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned areas that could benefit from a deep clean and issues with rubbish from previous guests, slightly lowering the score.

The cottage's location is highly regarded for its access to clifftop walks, local takeaways, and amenities. Its position as a base to explore Anglesey is also a highlight.

Most reviews find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a secure garden for pets. The presence of damp in one room has been a concern for comfort for some guests.

Facilities like the hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden are appreciated. However, some guests reported maintenance issues such as non-working lights and a lack of hot water in the hot tub, which affects the score.

While the reviews reflect a well-stocked and thoughtfully equipped property, there are no specific mentions of gifts provided to guests. Therefore, a score cannot be given for this category.

Found the kitchen to be a horrible dirty place, with Microwave Dirty, Oven Dirty, Dishwasher Dirty, utensils dirty. Gravy Jug was disgusting, all cupboards dirty, floor dirty, with a tear init. So spent 1hr deep cleaning. Shower room, well. The area and master bedroom smelt damp, mould on floor, shower door, walls, cracked tiles, human hair on the door!, towel rail rusty beyond acceptable, damp marks on 3 Walls on bedroom. Garden still had dog mess from previous amongst uncut grass. Bedroom door doesn't work, so that wasn't fixed. We sent red face feed back to Sykes, as not sure we would call the owner to say that this place is so much worse than our own house. Emailed Sykes Sunday morning, and we left Monday. Had no feed back even when we told owner that we had left. Had to call Sykes Friday, and now owner thinks it's fine not to reimburse! Won't use again!

We did messaged Lorraine about some repairs needed at the property and we hope that they were completed. Our bedroom door latch wasn't working properly and we had to force the door open and were reluctant to close the door when we were inside incase we were trapped. The washer door cat h needed to be bashed for the cycle to work. Inside of oven had to be cleaned as very greasy. Kitchen refuse bin lid wouldn't close. We kept it closed by putting our first aid kit on top. Otherwise it was wonderful. She shower was superb. We loved the Belfast sink set up outside for rinsing off the dogs. Something we intend to copy at home. Loved the hot tub and the extremely secure back garden. The enjoyed their daily walks around the harbour. Tha k you for the great holiday.
