Meadowbank is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and excellent location near the beach. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-appointed rooms and the secure garden, ideal for children and pets. The property's recent refurbishment and the addition of a games room are well-received. While parking can be challenging, the proximity to local shops and eateries adds to the convenience. A few minor issues are noted, but overall, guests are eager to return, often rebooking during their stay.
Reviewers consistently mention the property's immaculate condition, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness. The term 'spotlessly clean' is frequently used, suggesting meticulous attention to detail in maintaining the property.
The property's location is celebrated for its proximity to the beach, local amenities, and attractions like Culzean Castle. The scenic views and ease of access to walks and eateries contribute to a high location score.
Guests find the property comfortable, with spacious rooms and cosy settings. However, some guests mention the beds and pillows could be improved, slightly affecting the comfort score.
The property is well-equipped with modern facilities, and the addition of a games room is a hit. However, there are comments about the lack of a second shower and a few maintenance issues like a broken kettle, which slightly lower the score.
While some guests mention receiving chocolates and wine, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all reviews. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts are provided to all guests, and the score is set to null.

Facilities provided were excellent and the outside garden was a boon for Darcy, the 5 year old Wocker Cocker The sandy beach just a stone's throw away was a real bonus. The reasons for a 4* rather than 5* as indicated above, are 1) the shower cubicle needs a really good clean/refurb to remove the black mould and 2) the lack of any welcome pack, which, in my opinion, is usually provided to guests. Despite these two gripes, Darcie and I had a great holiday - thank you! Alan Lee

Review) uncomfortable mattresses with cheap and nasty pillows(April review) it was disappointing to note that nothing had been done to address these issues also, whilst fishing something out from under the sofa discovered that this area is seldom if ever cleaned. Otherwise satisfactory.

The property was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. Right next door to the local shop and take away and the beach is a minute away which was perfect for the dog. Not too far away from Culzean castle and a good location for exploring Ayrshire. Pool table has a bit of a dip in the middle but still kept the kids entertained and off their phones!!
