Drumbuie is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful rural setting. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the beautiful garden, and the property's proximity to scenic walks and local villages. The cottage's charm and the owner's hospitality contribute to a highly recommended stay, though some guests noted the staircase may be challenging for the elderly and the road can be busy.
The cottage is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The location is praised for its peacefulness and scenic views, with easy access to local attractions and walks. However, some concerns about road traffic and the need for caution with young children slightly affect the score.
Guests find the cottage warm, cosy, and comfortable, with adequate heating and comfortable beds. The only drawback mentioned is the potential challenge for elderly guests with the staircase.
While the reviews mention well-equipped facilities and a well-appointed kitchen, there is not enough detailed information on maintenance to accurately score this category.
The owner's hospitality is noted, with mentions of a welcome pack and the owner ensuring guests have everything they need. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned across reviews, it is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Summer months it may be busier. Dark skies were great for the astronomical telescope.
