Guests say

Burnside House is a spacious cottage with stunning views of Loch Awe, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. Guests appreciate the remote location for exploring the area and the ample gardens. The property is cosy and comfortable, with some guests receiving welcome gifts, adding a personal touch to their stay.

While some guests found the house cosy, there were concerns about blocked showers and stained carpets, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen, suggesting a need for better cleaning and maintenance.

The cottage's remote location by Loch Awe is highly praised for its tranquillity and beauty. However, the single-track access road may be challenging for some, and the proximity to another house was unexpected by one guest.

Guests found the living room spacious and the beds satisfactory. The property's peacefulness contributed to a comfortable stay, although the presence of cream carpets throughout raised concerns for families with young children.

The property offers basic amenities, with some guests enjoying the gardens and loch access. However, the lack of a dishwasher, coffee-making facilities, and a dryer, along with poor TV reception, indicate room for improvement.

While some guests mentioned receiving welcome gifts, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of this gesture across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed for future guests.
